Welcome to the madhouse Junior... Always like a signing that comes out of no where, which to be fair has been the majority of our Transfer Business this summer - Rak-Sakyi would have been great, but almost quite like the unknown with this lad.
As others have said, it feels  typical Peterborough type signing that they'd bring in from somewhere lower, and then flog on for £10m

Interesting Rodwell said we believe he can make an immediate contribution.

Wimbledon fans are not happy which is usually a good barometer. One of them said "took on his man every time he got the ball and skinned them. Think he will do well in the championship"

The highlights clip is fantastic. Unlike other young wingers, he's not going to be brushed off the ball easily

Welcome Junior! Not a signing we saw coming, but I think the model is focused on us developing and selling a player for £5-10m+, to help further fund the club and offset the losses.

Remember, we've incurred additional costs with Collins being unavailable for probably a year, and a loan fee plus wages for someone like Bindon would be a reasonable cost.

Let all the Charlton go for broke and sing
Let's see him in the box and down the wing
He's gonna be the Valley's finest thing
Oh I just can't wait for Nkeng

Don't know anything about the lad if I am being honest. However he sounds like he has got the makings of a decent player with a very bright future.

Welcome Junior, good luck and look forward to you lighting it up!

One for the future you'd imagine. 19 but hopefully provides a little competition to our starting wingers.

    Positively whelmed.

Is he though? JRS has somewhat plateaued since he has been with us. We seem to forget this.

Yes this lad is unproven but let’s just wait and see. He may well elevate like JRS did with us in his first loan season with us.

JRS - 49 games in the Championship 10 goals.
43 games in League One with 15 goals.

Nkeng - 24 games in League One with 2 goals.

Come on now, lets not be silly here.

Gets fouled a lot. Hopefully not in front of the refs who ignore Miles being hacked down.

I’m just happy we got our Kaheim Dixon replacement sorted by the end of the window
Kaheim Dixon would be blown away by a stiff breeze. They're entirely different builds of footballer

The comments on here remind me of when we signed Apter!, food for thought?

Apter would also be blown away by a stiff breeze. Junior is a bull of a man

I'm quite intrigued by this one, the comments sound like we want him to be in or around the first team fairly quickly so he's been bought in to make an impact.
Perhaps the logic is that if we couldn't get the OG Rak-Sakyi we try and grow our own version.

Who's that running down the wing? It's Junior Nkeng, Junior NKeng!
