Judging by the reaction of AFC Wimbledon fans this is a good signing even if the clips reel showed him falling over most of the time!

Well looking at that and comments from those who have seen him he certainlyhas the 1v1 ability Jones has been talking about. Assume he prefers to play off the right?
  • The clips of him look very exciting and what I really like is that he’s not afraid to retain possession. Doesn’t look to find a man at the earliest opportunity. That’ll frighten defenders to death.

Junior was born in Barcelona and I wonder if his mum was just on Holiday ?
I'm looking forward to hearing  his accent.
    Hola or Allo mate ?

We need 4 wide players to be available in the 16 players used every match since we have changed to 4-2-3-1.
TC, Alli, Grant(if not playing at 10) Junior and Apter (if he is still here at 11 pm.)

I don't think Nathan is ready to terminally Jettison Carey just yet from the 10 position but after Preston he may bench him for Grant in certain games.

All our Wingers can play either side as they all have a good right foot but as we've seen TC is more effective on the left but the switching does confuse the full backs so far from the opposition.

    Just heard the interview:

    "Yes man, I'm buzzing"

    More Bermondsey than Barcelona.

Rodwell is "looking forward to seeing him in action for Charlton."

    What's wrong with 'encantada', Jim?

Never heard a Spanish guy speak like that 😀
He came to London when he was 7 and soon spoke in the vernacular.
The good thing is Junior can play either flank just like Alli, TC and Karlan so despite JRS not happening, we have plenty of flair out wide and Grant can cover the 10(shadow striker) if need be like 2nd half on Saturday.

All good and I'm looking forward to Kelman and Ramsay being available for selection; they will be like new signings like Jones and Campbell.

No moaning from me I will leave that to Golfie and Co.

Would not want to be the defence that has to deal with TC, Grant and Alli first 60 mins (or after Carey goes off) and then TC Grant and Nkeng after that, particularly if they start to swap positions more in game.

I think all of them prefer coming in from the left (not sure about Alli) but capable of playing off the right or through the middle.

Proper headache for the defence if we manage to work out what we are doing.

Mbaye, 18, has signed for Villa, £47m, is he going to be an impact sub, I think not.

If you're good enough, you're old enough. Maybe, Maybe not.

    Welcome Junior.

Can we have Rodwell's innermost ponderings on this deal please.

Delighted, been following him for years, ever since he moved from Spain when he was 7, could make an immediate impact.

Lets be honest he's a JSR downgrade at the moment BUT hearing ridiculously good things about him
Why is he a downgrade? Rak Sakyi scored twice in 15 games in the Championship. Once against Sheff Wed and another against Oxford.

    Is that good?

Take a look at his record for Sheff Utd… when they came third a couple of years back.

Lets not rewrite history and pretend JRS isn’t all that all of a sudden.

Anyway - the last winger we signed who I remember being very whelmed with at the time was Jerome Thomas. Who relatively speaking didn’t look like a first team player on paper.

    That one went pretty well!
