    An instagram announcement for National Rail’s Engineering Works planner shutting down the service to South Bermondsey on Saturday immediately followed by Player of the month TC pictured I can only assume is of him on the dog and bone arranging it. What a season he is having…there’s stepping up your game and being more proactive and there’s going the extra mile whilst you’re at it…

    Form and probably team strength is irrelevant in these games, they still took 4 points off us in 2014/15 on the way to being relegated and we were comfortably mid-table.

    They did the count at 60 minutes and there were only Wrexham fans still there.

    Bolton tomorrow so a game where under normal circumstances a home win should be the outcome. This will be interesting.

    I was dubious about his signing initially but he was superb yesterday. Constantly harrying and harassing Boltons back line. Carried out his defensive duties well as well. He didn’t lose a header all game I don’t think. 
    Took his goals well. The first was a tap in, but came after him and Lovelace timed their runs perfectly, beat Boltons offside trap and put their keeper under massive pressure. He messed up his clearance, it ricocheted off Lovelace in to the path of Dykes. 
    He was a tad fortunate with his second in that the ball fell to him in the box, but he still had the keeper to beat and a Bolton defender coming at him, but instead of power he stayed calm and just placed it, was a well taken goal. 
    Hes a more intelligent player than I initially gave him credit for. His off the ball work is superb. He’s constantly making runs in to the box, away from play, drawing defenders with him, giving others space. He did this to perfection v Norwich which lead to a goal.
     I like his attitude and his workrate. Good to have around the youngsters as well. A wise head giving them a bit of guidance. You can see him doing that on the pitch. I really like him. Could end up a bit of a cult hero at the Den. Although when the likes of Coburn, Ivanovich and Arconte are all fit I don’t think he’ll be near the starting 11. Good to bring on as a sub though. He’s a great player to go up against tiring defences.

    Came as a total shock to me. I would’ve bitten your hand off if you’d offered me a draw before the game. Started five players that weren’t in the team on Wednesday. Probably bought them back from injury too early but needs must.

    We are probably gonna go into another game on Weds with nobody on the injured list making it... and if anything missing more players.
