Actually I think it’s an error in the lineup graphic because Pedersen isn’t listed at the stadium and she would make 10 subs.1

Who are you and what have you done with Floyd?

I guess Kenney is injured and maybe Boama too?
No recognised striker0 -
Sky are guessing it’s a 352 which seems likely to me0
-
It’s 442/4411 with Fitzgerald on the left wing, Hutton up front and Davidson joining her/sitting a bit behind0
-
4231 with Davidson most advanced of the 3 by the looks of it0
-
That was far too easy0
-
Unlucky though with the spin on the ballfenaddick said:That was far too easy0 -
We can't keep hold of the ball atm.0

Ahhhh Mason needed to bring that down0

I'm watching on Sky +. However it only shows on the left hand side of the screen, about 2/3rds of screen with other info on right. Is there a way to get it full screen for the match0

First time we’ve given the ball to Partido in front of her instead of with her back to goal and we create something. Need more of that. Other than that we’re probably just best off booting it out for a Liverpool goal kick and trying to press the dodgy passing out from the back Liverpool have got going on2

Mega double save from Whitehouse2

Calling an incoming POTY for Neville early here1

Lobato getting ready to come on. Can’t see any injuries0

I have a feeling we are going to be miles off in the WSL - no shame in that at all - but honestly think we will barely win a game.2
-
Almost certainly will be the case but Liverpool were good second half of last season and despite having lots of the ball haven’t really created anything too concerning after the goal. If we can improve on the ball we might surprise a fewDamoNorthStand said:I have a feeling we are going to be miles off in the WSL - no shame in that at all - but honestly think we will barely win a game.1 -
Financially we are at a mismatch and that's only going to get harder once Newcastle becomes competent it will likely take an over performance greater than last season to stay up imo which I doubt is on the cards

A decent first half all things considered imo1

Hm. It’s sort of better than I thought, we’re at least not looking like we’re out of our depth defensively which is genuinely a huge thing. Part of that though is that Liverpool got an early goal and haven’t had to get out of first gear since. In the midfield we’re all over the place though, there’s absolutely no point in Davidson being in that advanced space because she’s basically just on a park run. Push her up for the press on their goal kicks sure but then we’d be much better off with her a bit deeper and closer to the other midfielders.Partido is clearly where all our attacking drive is going to come from but she’s already looking pretty tired. Hutton has a thankless role up front and already looks gassed and quite angry. I hope Azzaro can play a bit because I reckon Jodie has another 15 mins in her tops. There’s still something on for us here, that ball over the top is causing them real problems and they don’t seem to know how to deal with it without fouling our players and then we could get something from a set piece. We need to be reading the moment for the run in behind and between that and the press for their god awful goal kick routine we can nick one. We really could do with a better option on the left than Fitzgerald as well, she works hard but physically I think this league isn’t going to be great for her6

We got better as the half went on but that isn’t saying much.
We need to up the intensity second half and get to the ball first and keep hold of it. Too easily pushed off it all through that half.
It’s going to be a long season if we carry on playing like this.0 -
Bright spots: Neville looks good and has been a lot more creative than I was expecting. The press has caused Liverpool problems. Whitehouse has done well except for that one moment that led to the goal. Less optimistic: well, how long have you got?
We knew this was going to be tough. No surprises really. On balance I'd say we're doing well compared to what we feared based on the recruitment. Probably a very tough season and not many points, but not completely outclassed.2 -
Did well to hold it to only 1-0 to Liverpool.
Liverpool are faster across the pitch quicker to react than us. We also find it harder to turn the player and get past them. Feels like it will be a long season.0 -
Update: Koivunen is really good at keepie-uppies. Can we stick her up front?2
-
Great finish but feel like we should have got rid of that ball way earlier1
