    Plus pretty sure mens pitches are a bit too big for women's games I think I saw somewhere

    Shape change again. 442 now with Johnston and Davidson in the wide midfield areas and Hutton at LB. Endemann is starting to cause us some real problems

    You can blame the heat if you want but from minute one they've been first to pretty much every ball.
    We have got to get fitter and faster or we're going to get battered every game.
    I'm hoping it's first game back syndrome and we get smarter.

    We’re not going to get fitter and faster. The gulf is absolutely huge here. Liverpool have barely broken a sweat today and their squad is miles ahead of ours. That’s just the reality, we’re going to try and be compact and defensively sound and it’s clear that we did a decent job of that in the first half but you could see the team tire more than usual as the half went on. The heat’s not the only factor but it’s undeniably tired this team out early and caused more gaps to appear. It’s not a non-factor

    Think age is a big factor here. Liverpools starting XI are all at peak age, apart from Keating who is young. We started 30 players over 3 and 3 under 25. It isn’t ideal really

    Why aren't we going to get fitter and faster?
    We can't go into every game thinking we're just going to defend for 90+ minutes & hope that we can score on the break or from set pieces. That's suicide football. 
    Neville just showed how it's done. She put a Liverpool player under pressure & forced a free kick and she's done more running than most out there ffs.

    We need to be starting 11 players over the age of 3 if we want to stay in this division.

    Certainly won’t be many (if any) teams worse than us this year, unfortunately.

    we don’t seem to have a really pattern of play, or ‘identity’. Hutton hung out to dry playing as ST/CF today too.

    hopefully with Kenny, Robe, Cissoko and boama to come in- we will improve

    Only got home to watch the 2nd half and Liverpool with six new players are a much improved side from last season in the WSL.

    I fear the gap is so big now after watching a lot of the top league on TV and so many big names are coming to the  WSL that teams coming up from WSL2 will find the gap to be enormous.

    Seeing the side that London city Lionesses put out and comfortably beating  Man United, it seems to be about the haves and have nots; just like the men's game at the elite end.

    Michele Kang is one of the haves.

    I warned you. Karen (as lovely as she is) not a WSL Manager.

    i fear it could get very embarrassing for us very quickly this year unless changes are made.

    A decent crowd today however.
