Any news on Chalobah ?0

It's been announced see here.Bedsaddick said:When does the squad have to be announced?
No Burke ... probably injured.0 -
So in theory everyone registered in the 25 man squad will be fit after the international break and Kelman/Edwards could potentially feature in the upcoming games against QPR, Pompey and Cardiff although think it’s silly to risk either for the sake of 3 games0

Edwards yes - cant see him being risked.
Kelman... how far do you take the not risking? You are suggesting holding him back for another month just to be safe.... he could just as likely get injured in training. At some point, you have to get players on the pitch. Millwall did that last Saturday and won 4-0 off the back of it.2 -
So Kelman is back, Edwards is nearly ready but Apter is injured now and from NJ’s comments to Cawley it doesn’t sound like Chalobah will be back after the international break. Koumetio, Ramsay and Godden should be1

May be controversial but I really don’t think the injuries have been that impactful. We have absolutely been stretched thin across the backline but my god we’ve got 8 defenders and for some reason they’re all just absolutely class I don’t think we’ve ever had such a perfect backline in terms of quality and strength in depth.I look at this system how we play and cant see how Godden/Kelman would be an improvement on Leaburn who’s been class this season.Chalobah is the only big miss but he was signed knowing we would only get 10-15 games from him anyway. The thing that has cost us hasn’t been injuries is that we have no standout attacking midfielder or RW hence our lack of goals5

I think our injuries have definitely cost us by us having a weak bench.Crispywood said:May be controversial but I really don’t think the injuries have been that impactful. Yesterday being a prime example.
Several players clearly blowing out their arse after about 60 minutes.
NJ must have been aware of this but he did not trust that the players on the bench could be trusted.
Had the bench been stronger I'm sure he would have made Several changes and who knows we might have won the match.3 -
But majority of our injuries are defensive ones and we kept a clean sheet and never looked like conceding. Our issue has been scoring goals yes Kelman has been out Godden has been out but I don’t think they massively improve us.blackpool72 said:

if we had drawn that game 2-2 I think we would have a very valid argument with injuries0 -
Apter was injured, so might have come on.Crispywood said:

Sounds from NJ's interview that basically everyone is back fit now.9

Cawley’s latest article has quotes from NJ where he says that lots of players are back but that “three are still on the sidelines”.
If I had to guess who those three were I’d suggest Sichenje, Chalobah and possibly Godden.2 -
I don't think that's what he was saying. He said there are 25 fit players and they played an 11 v 11 game so 3 players didn't get to play. Presumably Brooks + 2 othersCallumcafc said:Cawley’s latest article has quotes from NJ where he says that lots of players are back but that “three are still on the sidelines”.

No way Collins is playing again this seasonDamoNorthStand said:Sounds from NJ's interview that basically everyone is back fit now.2 -
Either way if he’s said he has 25 fit players 22 involved in the practice match and 3 on the side that’s still 3 short because we have 28 players when you include Mwamba Nkeng and Mbick who don’t count towards registration.fenaddick said:

If I had to guess who those three were I’d suggest Sichenje, Chalobah and possibly Godden.Godden Chalobah Apter were 3 of the existing injuries Jones made no confirmation they would be back when the rest where hinted at so maybe those lot.Sichenje is out for the season and not registered so doubt he’s even going to be thought about when Jones is referring to his teams for this season0
