When Lamptey went down, Leaburn went to the sidelines feeling his left hamstring and spoke to a physio and to Fleming and Jones, about a min later JRC was called from warming up and started to get ready, at one point when we had the ball Jones screamed at Miles to go down but he didn't.FishCostaFortune said:
No idea but he ran down the tunnel straight away fully stripped offIR94 said:who was jrc meant to be on for?
Reckoned he felt a twinge but worked through it and they're reassessing him now at half time3 -
Carey needs to come off, playing with 10 at the moment6
-
The keeper/sweeper needs closing down quicker, he's getting the freedom of The Valley ffs.2
-
I think he's just offside

First ten and last ten were decent, the rest of the half were torture.1
-
He never had any treatment, so it can't have been so bad that he couldn't last until halftime.Chunes said:
Leaburn was limping. Guess he ran it off.killerandflash said:Why was JRC about to come on, then asked to sit down? I didn't see anyone limping, and it would be daft to waste a substitute window 3 minutes before half time.0 -

Hope Miles isn’t injured, has been our best player tonight. Does so much running and battling.6

There's daylight between Skipp's foot and the ball here, he's onside if you wind it back to when the ball was made.Callumcafc said:
Think angle is deceiving here. If you get an image from directly in line I reckon you’d find Campbell is half a dozen inches offside.guinnessaddick said:

You expect games to ebb and flow, and to be honest with where we are as a team you expect us to often be the 2nd best team on the pitch.
But like with West Brom, and Stoke the gulf in quality feels so much for so much of the game.1 -

The more you see that TC goal, the more outrageous the offside was, he was at least two feet behind the LBl ooking at the lineage on the pitch...3

Hasn't made a mistake yet with his feet.eastterrace6168 said:The keeper/sweeper needs closing down quicker, he's getting the freedom of The Valley ffs.0 -
You’re only focussing on the negative there though.FishCostaFortune said:You expect games to ebb and flow, and to be honest with where we are as a team you expect us to often be the 2nd best team on the pitch.

For 20 mins or so they couldn’t get near us.
It’s natural to focus on the bad parts to be fair2 -
I think we score in the first 7 minutes of this half and it's not an expected player.

I thought the player closest to the Lino was playing him onsideCallumcafc said:A half of thirds. All Charlton, then all QPR, then all Charlton.
Contrary to what’s being said on Charlton TV, I do think Campbell was fractionally offside for the disallowed goal.
With VAR it probabky would have stood.
But let's not let one iffy lino decision obscure the fact that for most of that half we were poor. Very little attaching intent & when we do it's all sown the left.
We have 3 wingers on the bench who I believe can use their right foot. Let's not wait until we are losing before we bring one on.0 -
Let's not get carried away because of the disallowed goal and the pass that lead up to it. We have been totally out played in that half, we no midfield at all. They can pass through starting from the back they can run through it with the ball and we cannot lay a foot on them, they win more tackles in midfield. So we have at best two players up front and nine players within 30 yards of our own goal.1

Charlton players back out ...
... sans Leaburn.
☹️
JRC on.0 -
Well, we're certainly being very accommodating in helping him with that statistic..Addicksi said:

JRC replaces Leaburn. Box midfield with Grant up top?1
-
That's a big blow, losing Miles second half.2
-
What's the logic in taking leaburn off for JRC0
-
Diamond Joe on0
-
Interesting substitution... Such a shame for Miles1
-
Well that is the nail in the coffin for this half, having to tale Leaburn off.0

Leaburn injured.
Got to get Kelman back.1 -
