    If Fullah was put in there intentionally then huge credit to whoever’s idea that was. TC is never going to be one for long answers but it’s the most he’s ever looked like he’s enjoyed an interview

    Players get media training in the academy, he's just shy and that's ok

    What a motivation  it must be to be having such a great start to his 2nd Championship season. Charlton through and through, and one of the most exciting players I have seen for many years.
    He could have gone elsewhere, but sees the value in staying and growing along with the club.
    Just hope the prem vultures stay away, and he can go up with us in a few years .
    Can't wait to see him play today, hope he gets an assist or goal again

    The interview by numbers was what these things usually are. Indeed TC showed he had fully learned his ‘media training’ with his brief on point clichéd answers.
    He is a footballer, the interviewers are the ones supposedly media trained, yet without fail they ask closed, predictable and leading questions.
    I mean consider the question ‘how much are you looking forward to the game?’
    How is any footballer supposed to respond to such inanities?
    ’On a scale of one to ten my anticipation is a four’.

    I'm very glad his football has improved leaps and bounds in the past 3 years and I'm sure there's a media improvement on its way too, but it's the football one that really counts!

    All the interviews he is fed the answer in the questions and repeats what they say. Absolutely no personality whatsoever.

    Two years ago I went to see Ian McKellan in Player Kings on the West End. During the encore, I tossed a football onto the stage at his feet and shouted "If you think you're so good, let's see what you can do with this!?" Three Around The Worlds, a couple of headstalls, thigh pops, a crossover and finished with a flick and bicycle kick right into my smug face. Serves me right for assuming that people who are gifted at one particular activity might not be gifted at all possible activities. They are.

    Thought he ran his nuts off last night, feels right to call it out when I for one was guilty of throwing around "lazy" accusations last season about his tracking at wing back. I think everyone knew he had some potential but he's properly surprised me this season.

    Jones really needs to sub him off sometimes though. Was clear he was absolutely knackered and we very nearly conceded twice down that side from their full back overlapping and TC not being there 

    The lazy stuff was always stupid. He’s not lazy, his running stats are good and always have been. He sometimes doesn’t track back because he’s knackered. That’s when Jones needs to sub him, but I think he likes to leave him on because even when knackered he’s still usually our most dangerous player 

    Last season I can understand why he was left on all the time as we had no one else that can do what he does. We had Alli and Nkeng on the bench last night and I think Alli should have come on 15 minutes earlier at least, which would also mean TC has a bit more in him at the weekend

    Has really stepped up his game. I think he was subbed too early vs Stoke and too late last night. Jones should probably try to balance that a bit better.

    Jones said he’s carrying a bit of an injury at the moment. We’d already lost the Stoke game so made sense to rest him

    As last season he’s still about 99% of our creative outlet. He’s such an important player for us, but it really feels like we’re running him into the ground.

    Missing out on Rak-Sakyi or another right winger is a big blow. We aren’t as reliant as we were last season but still way too reliant on one player to make something happen

    It's why JRS would have been such an important signing to get over the line..... it would have changed the issue of TC being doubled up on overnight.

    Despite it being disallowed I was thinking about the confidence and calm TC took his goal with. Compare that to the Stoke one on one where he scored but got away with it a bit because his first touch was poor and he recovered it well. The difference in his approach with those two chances show how far he's come since last season

    It doesn’t matter what they see with their own eyes - bloke behind me called him a “bottle job” for not going in hard on a 30/70 challenge.

    The Sofascore app is your friend, they have it all. TC usually does 9-10km a game. Where he really excels though is the sprint numbers and high speed running. He runs a lot, some of our players do cover more ground per game, but the intensity he does it at is much higher

    Best player you’ve played with? JRS - made me  laugh but reminder how much he likes the guy.

    One thing on your bucket list? - Play for Arsenal 😂😂. Thought that was a belter. Brutally honest but couldn’t someone in the media team thought to edit it or ask him to provide another answer? 

    In main body of interview he’s asked why he’s so curt with his answers and he said that’s how he was always taught to be since he was young. Can’t say his answers in interviews bother me at all but it’s really sad if true that he’s been taught that from a young age.
