2026-27 CL Prediction League Week 5 Results

I almost introduced a new rule on Saturday that scores at 65 minutes would count in the Prediction League, but @AFKABartram overruled me and said there would be a riot. So, instead of a maximum score for me this week, I've ended up with 4 points, which is still an improvement over previous weeks. As I tried to explain to @AFKABartram, the Charlton score was 0-0 at 65 minutes and 90 minutes, so what harm could it do. Of course, others have done better than me under the usual rules, where scores are based on the final result. In that respect, @Seabros was this week's top scorer with 7 hard-earned points, while high-flying @PringlesCurtains kept up the tip-top form with 5 points; also scoring 5 points were @LenGlover and @ecclesaddick. This week that Mini Statbank has been expanded to reveal that only three competitors have scored 2 or more every week, while 36 competitors have avoided the Noughty Step so far. Who will be last one to avoid the indignity of the Noughty Step?

    having finished last 2 two years in or close to the premier league I now find myself at the bottom of the "couple of jumpers for goal posts in charlton park"league.I have spent the last three hours on the phone to the samaritans.Their suggestion [as I am averaging o.2 points per week or 0.066 points per fixture] is to not make any predictions for a week which would give me 
    the average points score which may be as high a 3.Is this still a rule or have the samaritans misinformed me?

    Yes, you can miss 3 weeks and will get the average score rounded to the nearest whole number. It’s usually 2, often 1 and occasionally 3. Big decisions.
