Thought they played really well last night v Newcastle. How much is matchday admission @MillwallFan?
Yes 26 quid. Yeah I thought we played really well as well, was pleased with the performance. Very gutsy and bearing in mind there was only 4 what you would call first teamers in that starting 11 and Newcastle fielded a very strong team.

Crowd could’ve been better but the atmosphere was superb.

  • 400 riot police to be deployed for the so called Dockers Derby. Will be interesting.

Never understand why they don't just ban away fans.

Lord knows how they will keep the fans apart in the return fixture (although Millwall will be so outnumbered at that, best they keep quiet I suspect)

I'm amazed the police have allowed Millwall to split the away end for games like this.

I have never ever been so grateful to be a goat farmer 😂
Although I earned very well out of the two fixtures the last time these delightful clubs met, it completely took over my life.
I would not be looking forward to organising the away fixture 😳🤯🫣
Good luck everyone, I hope all we’re talking about after is shit referees 🙏🏻🤞🏼

Guess the WH fans will be the respectable types doubt there will be any bother in the ground or even outside for that matter....places like New Cross, Bermondsey and Surrey Quays could be a different matter.

Will be in riot gear, though without shields.

Dog units, mounted police and live facial recognition cameras will also be deployed as part of the large-scale police operation.

There’s some footage doing the rounds on X of a west ham pub some Millwall fans turned up to y’day, that was apparently empty and then the police turned up to make arrests.  I’m not really sure of the details but some of the replies to the footage is pure comedy gold.

You’ve got people saying West Ham bottled it and called the police in, they’re grasses.  Then you’ve got some Millwall fans saying how embarrassed they are and the ones that went ‘ain’t proper wall’.  Then a selection of tweets saying that would never happen if West Ham tried it in Bermondsey etc

For us train spotting anoraks, it’s great viewing

Riot police at canary wharf at 7.30am ffs.

Does make me wonder how they can pull police that quickly for this sort of thing but not for other pressing issues.
  • Majority of those going to the match will be little plebs with a camera going on about how edgy it all is and the footage soon gets up loaded to YouTube with a thumbnail of "riot at the den" or some similar nonsense, all for other little plebs to watch and comment on.

Oh I'm well aware it doesn't work like that.

Just strikes me that 3000 against 57000 is not good odds.

And if you guys really think you can walk into west ham and give it the big one, I would just remind you of Upton Park 2009. A lot of your guys learnt that night the hard way you can't.

I don't believe there is a great deal of intelligence on display here, real or artificial!

    Cancelled rest days.
And they always have reserves on stand by.
You just don’t always see it.

I think this is a game that will be about keeping the score down. There won't be many sides who go to West Ham and win this season. ;)

Let’s see if that segregated area is big enough once goals are scored.

Don’t know what it’s like at the ground or outside but on the TV it looks tame as anything in the stands - Bet Arconte gets some dogs abuse when he has a particularly poor game!
  • 33pc possession.

    13 shots to 1.

thats how you do it with no possession.

Not like us - sit back and basically bend over waiting to get done every time

It’s like watching a different game, I’ve got Charlton on the TV & Millwall on the iPad and the Millwall game is fast paced, attacking football - ours is slow paced, backwards & sideways, a really tough watch
