Jones said he should be back after the international break
Thanks. Seems to be a catch all statement for everyone currently out, barring Collins.  Not convinced
No conflict here. "After" could mean two days after or three months after.

Sorry, I see I am slow to the party here.

It looks simple but he needs a bit more help. That would assist him having more chances I suspect.

Wonder why he's the only attacker who hasn't been tried in the 10, other than he's been bloody good out on the left, but he's clearly worked on his left foot over the summer, is strong, can go past his man either way, not sure he's the greatest or cutest passer but would certainly get us up the pitch and pull players central allowing for grant on the left and whoever on the right to have more freedom, prob pull  one of the 2 CB off leaburn also!

Two reasons I think. 1) he's bang in form on the wings, nullifying your only real threat is a bad idea. 2) before NJ tried to convert him to a striker he tried to play him in the 10 and it didn't work. Of course he's developed since then but I think he still does his best work out wide

Agree he does his best work out wide, just feel its something we should try (through necessity of not having a 10 or RW), he's improved so much as a footballer in the past 12-18 months, and is such a stronger all rounder.

I’m sorry but that’s just not a good idea. Campbell’s best attribute by a mile is 1v1 dribbling out wide. He’s also starting to use his pace more effectively to run in behind. Why would you move him into the 10 and remove the best bits from his game? I really don’t think he has any of the attributes to be a good 10 other than ball carrying which he wouldn’t be able to show nearly as much playing centrally as he does out wide

There was one man who thought that was a good idea his name was Michael Appleton.

Tactical I think, although Cephas was more effective than Dixon I thought.

Involved in the incident that caused the Honduran player to get sent off, but not in the way you might think. He got dispossessed on the LH touchline, dragged back a bit as he tried to chase back, ended up nudging the man in the back, who went flying into a Jamaican player and laid him out. Ref seemed to think the Honduras player had lead with his elbow apparently, and give him a straight red. It wouldn't surprise me if they successfully appeal that.

Really interesting article on TC on Cawley’s Substack on his progression through the academy and challenges along the way.

Yeah really good read and gives an insight on his personality. I know TC has talked about not letting the lows get too low and I guess this adds more colour to that.

Thought it explained why Appleton broke him too. If TC doesn’t respond to the disciplinarian style then Apples isn’t the man to help

TC just scored his first goal for Jamaica!!!!!!! Lovely curler from the edge of the box, cutting in from the left on his right foot. A beauty. Go on TC!

Jamaica advance out of their Nations League group and will play Mexico in a two legged affair over the next international break in November to see who progresses to the semi final stage.

Other ties are Curacao v Panama, Guatemala v Canada and Haiti v USA.

Lovely finish and such a TC goal.
Great to see him with a big smile on his face. When he's happy he plays well and is a danger to any opposition.

Think this thread is becoming like the Nathan Jones thread, just full of people made to look silly. Keep it up TC

Tbf the interviewer wasn’t helping much. Just asked him the same thing 3 times with slightly different wording. Should have asked how he felt scoring his first international goal
