Currently working and listening to Phillies @ Braves on MLB TV radio (the way god intended baseball to be consumed--the radio). Sounds like a good game so far. I'm going to try to quit work a bit early to watch White Sox @ Astros. I really hope the Sox go through, even though I would have preferred the Rangers. Not just for the obvious reasons, but because I'm going home to LA next week and if the Sox make it through to the next round there's a decent chance I'll get to watch a playoff game with my dad, something I haven't gotten to do since I was a little, little kid (I still remember the '93 season when we were knocked out by the eventual World Series winning Blue Jays--in fact, that might be the last time we watched a playoff game together because the Sox very rarely make the playoffs and would have in '94 except for the Strike). So it'd be a really nice moment for us to watch White Sox playoff baseball together.

So it’s the end of the regular season!

How happy is everyone with their team’s performance?

The Giants did a magnificent 65 to 97 season, with coach Vitello getting hmself ejected, an MLB record, 7 times!

Sad to see Mike Krukow sign off after commentating for 36 year. He’ll certainly be missed!
Blue Jays finally got a decent rotation together only for the runs to dry up.

Paying Guerrero Jr £500m over the next 12 or 13 years, and he hits one home run at the Dome all season. He's been Charltonised.

White Sox through! And in some style as well. This is a team with immaculate vibes. I hope they make a deep run.

Do we think the Rays, Padres, or Brewers can break their WS duck this time out?

I think the Rays are most likely, if anyone can beat the Dodgers.

    Brewers vs Rays WS please
  • Padres have won their last nine series now. Brewers will be an incredibly tough test though with their top two starters almost impossible to score against.

its very hard to call as Dodgers can go up gears when it counts. You have to imagine they’ll do it again but I think they have some tough competition this year.
