CAST has received a timely and thorough reply to the open letter we sent to the club on behalf of fans ahead of the international break. The club's response is published in full on the CAST website, including quite a lot of detail regarding match day catering:

I thought the contract with G & G was 5 years and due to expire next season? Maybe the rebrand with LEVY and KERB voided it?Maybe that’s why emails and phone calls were ignored and why we was asked to pay 28% commission compared to 10 or 12% for other vendors 😂1

I like the new ticket scheme and it's good to hear that catering is now in-house, even if it's not quite up to scratch yet.
"Alongside this, fans@cafc.co.uk remains the primary point of contact for supporter enquiries, enabling issues to be directed quickly to the appropriate department."
I have never had a reply from this e-mail address, and I've seen a few others say the same.5 -
Supporters will see in the next three months whether it is all hot air regards the catering inside the ground.Carter was meant to have put his foot down last season but then eventually the service was sub standard again.5

Catering is still external. It’s run by LEVY & KERB eventsChunes said:I like the new ticket scheme and it's good to hear that catering is now in-house, even if it's not quite up to scratch yet.

So we switched from G&G to this lot? Even though they're both still under Compass.LarrysMobileBar said:

That’s right. It’s a bit like the Spider-Man memeChunes said:

I’ve seen those back-pour multi tap systems at festivals. They pour 12 pints at once.Surely we could loan/lease/buy some of these and solve the time to pour problem.0

Tbf and I can only speak for myself but they responded to my parking questions a few weeks back once I used that email addressChunes said:I like the new ticket scheme and it's good to hear that catering is now in-house, even if it's not quite up to scratch yet.

Well at least they responded positively.Does appear to be a bit of ‘we’ve heard it all before’ with limited tangible commitments and hard dates.Time will tell I guess. What’s evident is ticket prices are not coming down and season tickets will therefore be more expensive next year.2

Sounds like the old ‘I hear what you’re saying’ and ‘my door is always open’.
I’ve never had a reply to that fans email - not even an automatic one.
I hope I’m wrong but somehow I doubt it.4 -

In the meantime while you bear with us we will continue to charge you about £8 a pint for poor service and shit beer.........but we are listening, what a poor response imo3

A lot of words but very little said. Quite a disappointing reply. Was it from a real person ? If not it was rather disrespectful. It's all very well saying the new bag policy will make it "safer" for supporters but does it, or is it just moving a low level risk elsewhere ?

Not just me then. Read the letter before the thread and felt it didn’t really address the actual issues around catering in any meaningful way (apart from detail on cellars etc) and completely ignored the mass of feedback about the fans email generally leading to no replies. Can do much much better
Well done to the Trust for trying. What next?1 -

‘Week’ does not equal ‘timely’ does not equal ‘competing at an elite level’ 😉☹️😆Weegie Addick said:The club has assured CAST that any emails to fans@cafc.co.uk will receive a reply in a timely fashion.
