Yes he did turn up, loves coaching, especially out on the grass, with the young lads,  the meetings with analysis of players etc can go on a bit, but all part of the coaching job. Would like to step up and manage an academy team at some  point to see if he would like to follow that route of the game.
Enjoyed his career with Charlton, and also with Ebsfleet who reminded him of Charlton where they were both family type clubs. Was going to sign an extended contract as player coach with Ebsfleet, more coach than play when he got the call from Charlton to be offered a coaching role. No brainer as he always wanted to return in a coaching capacity. Hence the silence of the accusations of "refusing to play", which were totally untrue.
As a player would only train a few days a week to manage the knee problem, most managers were happy with that other than Guy Luzon.
Would loved to have played abroad , looked at playing for a club in Malta, but they used artificial pitches, and would have wrecked his knee in no time, so declined the offer.
Solly March still training with the club, also Tennai Watson just to get fit as still looking for a club.
Out of the youngsters coming through, loves Alan Mwamba and expects him to go on and have a good career.
