I have been listening to the Robert Elms archive of 'Listed Londoners' on the BBC Sounds section of the BBC site. He asks people 15 questions about their relationship with London.

I am usually disappointed if hoping for some South East London content, and hearing about Hampstead Heath or other trendy places is repetitive, quite a lot of north of the river content generally.

However this one came up, and I loved hearing the bit at 3.50 in.
