Have the lower tiers sold out/will they release them? They still appeared greyed out and I don't remember them being opened. Seems weird they haven't opened them yet as only 20-30 tickets left in the upper stands.

I was looking at train ticket prices over the weekend. I know the world has gone mad, but it's cheaper to travel to Wolverhampton from my nearest station in Berkshire than it is to travel to Birmingham. Even though the Wolverhampton train passes through Birmingham on the way!

Yes, it is ridiculous but for many years now there have been cases like this.  Strange but true.
Strange one this.....wife asked what was the cheapest ticket (return) from Hastings to Orpington.....ticket lady said get a return to Brixton....strange.

Cases like this have been for years, years ago we discovered London to Newcastle was cheaper than where we wanted to go, which was Darlington.
Consequently we bought tickets for Newcastle, we were made aware that you'd get a penalty if trying to exit the station.  Fortunately at the time there were no barriers at Darlington so we were okay.  Bonkers.
Darlington is 30 minutes away on a high speed train!

Think that is the arrive before 9am at your destination ruling on cheap day return tickets.

Is there any way of finding out how many tickets are left? I can't buy until tomorrow morning

    Looks like 300 - 400 to me.

  • Looks like this will comfortably sell out
and has reached general sale for those needing  or holding out for the last phase. Good job the team is shit atm or it would be carnage on here.
