Doing 2 nites down here this Tues and Tues week brilliant!

    Yeah. these night's are excellent...... I have been a few times excellent pub and some cracking entertainment, good atmosphere.

    I've seen Glenn play at a few festivals over the past few years, fronting his own band or just himself and a bass player.

    Always a quality gig, chucks in a few Squeeze classics just to keep us happy.

    No charge. Its his local pub and he likes to practice with his band down there every now and again, which happens to be the next two tuesdays luckily enough.

    Great night! Glenn and his band are really on form and very entertaining.

    Was worth driving through the snow home for and I cant recommend him highly enough for people to get down the Anchor next Tuesday.

    What more do people want for nowt!

    The Anchor is a great boozer btw.

    I did see it. I thought he was going to land in the fire the way he rolled around. I laughed when i realised he was allright. he went quiet after that... which was a very good thing!!

    Yes the pub is a real gem IMO, hope that it stays that way, the way a pub should be run, a good friend had his daughters 21st there late last summer fabulous night, the landlord works very hard to keep this place a friendly, and genuine welcoming. I have been to a couple of music nights there and they are top class, and free. I am not surprised that the group went down well Glenn is a top musician/songwriter. Hope the venue does well, but not too well as these places are a rarity these days.

    ken. Am pals with paul an mark an sandy. Had my 40th there last year an quite a wild night. They know how to put a party on. Hope so as they know this sunday wont be a quiet one an my neighbour glenn said he will bring his guitar down. Cool for cats.
