Am having issues trying to log on to FB - keep getting an error message telling me to check HTTP port 80, HTTPS port 443 and FTP port 21 at my firewall - anyone out there know how I do this? cheers
first thing, check to see if anything has changed your internet settings
go here:
Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings
made sure the Proxy server box isn't ticked
you should also run a full virus and spyware check... cause something been playing with the settings. could be an windows or mcafee update that accidentally did it... but it could also be some sort of malware.
Cheers both - just ran a full scan (hence me being offline for so bloody long) and it seems to have sorted it. Had tried to connect to work's VPN earlier and encountered a prob with that so both may be connected - will check out with the IT guys in the office tomorrow.
