Fleetwood as well, understandably most haven't seen him play. Three that were here last season.[cite]Posted By: LawrieAbrahams[/cite][cite]Posted By: LargeAddick[/cite]Akpo is in the three worst strikers I have seen at Charlton. He offers nothing. Has no pace and for a big lump no physical presence. And his inability to head the ball is something else.
Lawrie Abrahams, George Hopeless, Izale Mcleod, Chris Dickson - that's 4 worse strikers without even thinking0 -
how could you say Fleetwood is worse than Akpo when he had about ten minutes first team action ?0

How can you say akpo is the in the worst three players you have ever seen to play for Charlton when he has a 75% scoring record?0 -
I've seen him in a few other games, not much though I admit. Throughout pre-season 08/09 and for the reserves v Brighton. There's also his record for Exeter, the fact he's now playing in League Two, the way he got nowhere near our first team even in League One. He's only ever had one season of scoring goals regularly and that was in the BSP.[cite]Posted By: LargeAddick[/cite]how could you say Fleetwood is worse than Akpo when he had about ten minutes first team action ?
Not saying I've seen him loads at all but if he was even as good as McLeod or Dickson I'm sure he'd have at least got a handful of sub appearances here.0 -
akpo has scored
3 goals in his 11 starts
and 4 goals in his 18 sub appearances0 -

Still a better scoring record than most and its ridiculous to write him off.0 -

A bit harsh, Lawrie.
Your namesake was a bit lightweight, I remember ........ but he had some decent ball skills,
Good link up play and scored a few goals without being prolific.
Bit of a Dave Mooney, I suppose.
My memory of him was that he ran around a lot but was useless. I was only about 12 though.0 -
When I type 'also' on my phone it comes up as 'Akpo'.0
