    Doing a deal with risdale would be like muzza selling his soul to the devil. I have always believed that muzza was here until a person or persons could move us on and aid rebuilding how can anyone genuinly think that risdale is a fit and proper person after Leeds and cardiff and the financial issues that they found themselves in with his leadership.

    So now Dan Roan has tweeted that Peter Ridsdale called him to deny the rumours that he's involved.

    REALLY confused now as I don't know which of these two to disbelieve.

    RM owns 100% of cafc so even if White or Hatter disagree its still his call..

    RM said in SLP that he talking but deal not close.

    What we don't know is how fast a deal could be done.

    Apparantly there are two Peter Garlands, the beanpole who used to star for us, and had a shot like an exocet.
    Is there another Peter Garland, who is associated with Sebastian Sainsbury?

    It looks like there could be, Seth. I went googling, and found this:

    It's actually Paul Garland, and he was involved when Sainsbury tried to buy into Leeds.

    Now the article makes it clear that Garland was employed by Leeds. He brought Sainsbury to the table. So I can't see from this article whether he and Sainsbury have a close relationship. If they do, it does not cast Sainsbury in a good light. I think it's time to open a separate thread on Sebastian Sainsbury...
