Kent win by 4 wickets0 -
We've won but Warwickshire only need 48 so barring a miracle we are down.0

rain dance?0
-
rain dance won't work, we're on 150 points I think, Warwickshire were on 144, an abandonment would result in 8 points, putting them on 1520
-
A feisty end to the season but relegation is what Kent deserve, the only surprise is that there is a team worse than Kent in the division.0

Warwickshire win by ten wickets, Kent relegated.
Time to sack the board and get some fresh faces in.0 -

We will be back next year, nel has been quite good last few games if we can keep him.0 -
I'm going to see whether there are any Clubs from other Sports will pay me NOT to support them.0

Cook out off what might have been the last ball of the match against Hants proved rather crucial in the end. Not his fault though because the blame rests squarely on the shoulders of Robert Key not only as skipper but who managed to amass the sum total of 674 runs from 27 Inns of which 261 came in one of them!0 -

Add Denly and to a lesser extent Northeast to that list. 600 odd runs at 21 odd is woeful for a supposed England hopeful (Denly) and Northeast, number 3 formost of the season, scored a similar number of runs at an average of under 25.
In fact only one batsman (MVJ) got his 1,000 runs. Most counties had 3 or more.0 -

Meanwhile things are heating up in the Somerset/Durham and Notts/Lancs match.
As I understand it - Notts need a few more runs to secure an extra bonus batting point, and need to get a couple of bowling bonus points. If they do they end up with the same points total as Somerset, but will win the title having won more games.
Somerset will win the CC if they beat Durham though and they need a mere 181 to win off 17 overs, currently they are 37/3.0 - Sponsored links:

Somerset have given up and match drawn.
Notts secured maximum batting points with 400, then declared. They have 16 overs to get 3 Lancashire wickets to get one bowling bonus point and finish level with Zummerzet on points but would be declared champions because they've won more matches.0 -

Lancs are 2 down now, looks very good for Notts.0

Love it that Kent went down. Key 'taking blame' according to BBC. All that Fat Robert after tipping yourselves for the championship. Prize Berkshire.0
