That's dedication, Ormy - well done, and let's hope it does have some inspirational effect! As someone with one of the shortest trips for once (only about three hours from Glasgow), I had no excuse!!

Bloody brilliant Ormiston. I hope those who haven't got the faith to go will now re-consider their decision - you know who you are!!. COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!!!!!!

Blimey - You've put me to shame.

Still not sure if I should go, given my recent record on Away days.
  • [cite]Posted By: Salad Spinner[/cite]He should be introduced to the players before the game.

he should partner d.bent upfront, (then be handed over to the men in white coats);-)

We need to lobby Radio Five Live and Barclaycard to make Ormiston fan of the month (if not the season).

From what I heard on the radio yesterday their current shortlist ludicrously seems to comprise:
A Bolton fan who's been following the team for 30 years - so what?
A Man U fan who couldn't afford flight/ hotel so got an overnight coach to Barcelona to the CL final and back - 8 years ago!
A Spurs fan (I think) who lives in Leicester (I think) and manages to attend matches - shock, horror!

Think our Ormy just about beats that lot!

Thanks, too, PBS, might be worth a try as well! I was just so horrified by the lack of quality of the April nominees that I thought we could try and hijack it. The prize is better too - £250 to spend in the Club shop, not just a replica shirt...
  • There I was going to add my name to list that's going to Ewood and suddenly I feel slightly embarrased that it's taken me this long to book my ticket/flight - Ormiston Addick = Legend!

Ormiston, you're a nutter. I bow down before your dedication to the cause.

I agree with Alex Wright - we are not worthy.

    Well done Ormiston.

I've only got half your distance to travel but it ain't gonna happen, I'm afraid.

    I feel almost ashamed!

Well done Ormiston. Barmy, but well done.

If it inspires anyone on here who lives a lot closer to home to change their mind and make the trip, then you have provided a service.

I heard about a good party i'm going to miss on Saturday, and thought twice about jacking it in, but there will always be other parties.

Shame its not a home game as it would be easier to meet and say hello.

Well done Ormiston, I know how you feel, sometimes you just feel totally compelled to get and see them, however difficult and expensive it is. I hope the players realise how much this means to us.

I choose Sheff Utd over Blackburn, came back from Chicago for weekend. Wish I was going this Saturday too.
