    According to wiki he has been in a squad but pulled-out because of injury.

    He's in the provisional 40 for the Euro's though, must be nailed-on to get in the final 23.

    Back to the managers it's interesting that all of those named (and I'd throw Kenny Dalglish into the mix too) have an almost identical background.  West coast working class protestants from families that have no interest in religious bigotry: Busby, Stein, Shanks, Fergie and Dalglish.  Lambert, Smith, McLean, Moyes and McLeish are all from that neck of the woods too.

    My take for what its worth is they don't stand for any nonsense , my way or the highway, and they have generally a greater desire to succeed than English people, must be the porridge and all that snow!
