After my birth Sam Bartram only played 5 more times for Charlton. Couldn't have been anything I said ;0)

    We lost 3 of our first 4 matches of the 88/89 season by 3-0 scorelines, to Liverpool, Millwall and Coventry respectively (with a 1-3 victory over West Ham in between)... we then drew 3 of our next 4 league games 2-2!

    14 april 1970 a 2-1 home victory over bristol city in the last game of the season.

    our second win in 19 games and only our 7th win of the season. and we actually stayed up.

    I was born on the 3rd May 1968 and the following day Charlton thrashed Hull City at The Valley 5-1 in the old second division to record their biggest win of the season!

    I was born on 23rd September 1981, that same day we played Chelsea away at Stamford Bridge and drew 2-2, Paul Walsh scored twice.

    My daughter was born 16th Sept 2008. That same day, we beat Doncaster 1-0 away - we then didn't win another league game away from home until 4th April 2009

    Did this for my mate a few years back for his 40th, his was born bewteen two 5-0 wins. I managed to get the programmes from both games and framed them for him along with the team sheets.
