Stephen Wright = genius. Best I have actually seen live are Frank Skinner, Lee Hurst, Eddie Izzard and Bob Mills. Would like to see Steve Hughes, Rich Hall and Frankie Boyle.

Saw Rich Hall last year. Split show. First half stand up second half Otis Lee Crenshaw gig. Very funny.

Well, he used to sit down but Dave Allen (RIP).  Frankie Boyle from the current crop.

Mitch Hedberg, one liners don't get funnier! Also Eddie Murphys' early stand up stuff makes me cry with laughter. 'Eddie Murphy raw' if anyone hasn't seen it

Ricky Gervais stand ups are usually very good. Also quite like Jason Manford. Karl Pilkington is now very much part of Gervais's act.

Not sure who Joe Brand is. There's a very good female comic called Jo Brand though, seen her a couple of times and she was very good.

I suspect Rodney was on a wind-up - hence my 'LOL' earlier.

Saw Jerry Seinfeld at the O2 on Friday. Was brilliant.

Everyone is better live. I've seen Mick Miller,Fogwell Fax, Charlie Williams and Mike Burton live at various holiday camps over the years and they were all hilarious.

Peter Kay is very good, seen him twice and I also like Michael McIntyre.

I think Seinfeld is my favourite.

Bill Hicks, Stewart Lee + saw Mark Steel doing stand up on the theme of the french revolution and it was hilarious though I think he has dubious taste in football teams....

    Not in any particular order

    Izzard

    Connolly

    Noble

    Cooper

Reeves n Mortimer (not strictly stand up, but Shooting Stars is the funniest thing on telly)

does anybody (other than Chirpy) find Michael Mcintyre anything other than irritating? - never met anybody who likes him.
