Millwall Pre-Season Friendly

edited June 2011 in Troubleshooting
Presumably there wont be any coach to this game. Therefore, how do we get from south bermondsey station to the away end? Will there be some sort of escort?

Comments

  • Yes mate her name is  Mary and her rates aint that bad.
  • it's very strange but the stadium is blue and quite large and visible from the station

  • Give Alexander a break, he's only about 15.

Just follow the signs from the platform.  There is a separate footpath that forks off the main path that takes you right to the away turnstiles.
  • Glad you told me that, Henry. I was going to take Cold Blow Lane.

It's not called "The Toolbox" for nothing.

  • Think this is a general problem

people seem to want to take the pee or be rude not knowing anything about the poster just presuming they are numptys

  • Thank you Henry. To the others grow up
  • I think most people will appreciate that someone coming on here to ask if there will be an escort from the train station to the away end for a pre-season friendly could quite possibly be a wind-up. But who knows for sure.

Can't really see any rudeness in any of the above responses either, but maybe I've got a thicker skin than most.
  • I agree with left behind - i was slated mercilessly for advising people that i'm a better player than Semedo - in hindsight people now realise i was right and have been left looking a bit silly.
  • Very true Dan. But what counts against you is that you seem to like Courage Best above any other beer, so clearly your judgement must be called into doubt.
    ;o)

  • Courage Best is not my favourite but it seems the most logical avatar seeing as it was moi who brought real ale to the masses at the Valley. The choice of Ale was purely down to our catering manager, whose name escapes me. I did consider something else as i didn't want to be seen blowing my own trumpet as thats not really my style as i'm sure you're aware.

  • Of course, BD, of course.

    You could've gone for this.

To be fair Off_itt reading most of your posts I would agree you have to have very thick skin, mine on the other hand is paper thin ;-) (cunningly diverting your attention away from BD so CL doesnt loose yet another decent poster)
  • BD's alright, he gets it. I can't imagine he would be put off by a few comments about his wand (of a left/right foot, that is)
  • My wand is actually bigger than his ill have u know
  • Thanks for the concern BH but Off it's not a problem - in fact i like the angry one's - it makes for some lively banter - was a bit surprised he didn't get involved with the tatoo debate but now i know its all about art and fantasy and symbolism rather than aggression, i understand.
  • It's not the size of the wand Benny, but what you can do with it.

For example, I'm sure Amdy Faye had a bigger wand than, say, Claus Jensen - but he couldn't use it for anything other than standing on. (Which is a nice trick if you can do it)
  • You and my missus must be kindred spirits he he

There's a debate about tattoos? EDIT: Ah, just seen it. Agree with you BD - can't really see the point myself but each to their own.

(and thanks for the endorsement - I think!)
