we know there are several players who are pretty far down the line.

But do we know?  We keep saying it, but where's the evidence that it is so?

Didn't like the way his game improved as he neared the end of his contract.

Yeh that left a bad taste in my mouth as well
I said at the time that the reason why his game improved over the last eight games was because his contract was up and he knew other teams would be watching him. His three year contract has cost us 936k. Have we got value for money. Have we fuck.

Well the OS released a statement on Hayes. When have you known us to ever go public on a player like that when it wasn't literally a formality?

As for the remainder... unfortunately this is not an evidence business is it really? There has to be an element of understanding and trust.

I think it's time to try something new in that midfield in an attempt to stop the rot. Same goes for Semedo to be honest.

RichCawleySLP - Okay...we have confirmation on Racon to #Millwall. The #cafc midfielder has signed two-year deal at The Den.
  • That's one drain on the wage bill gone then!

strange how the one player we are all desperate to be out of contract still has a year to run. Thanks Parky.

Agree with that and reckon he'll do an Ambrose under a good manager.

I think he is a good player and am not happy about us losing good players to Millwall. We need to see some activity as the squad feels weaker to me at the moment than it was last season - I accept still time for that to change.
  • Id rather have him in the squad than not.

Hollands will be one of our first choice c/m's.

McCormack will not be let anywhere near the pitch, unless he's helping Paddy Powell in some way.

On the plus side no more stories about his performances in the Gold Cup, but then again there will be nothing on the OS the now

Remembering the halcyon days of the premiership, we did not get Murphy, Jeffers and one other in till the last week before the season (shame we got any of them really), this tiome last year we had hardly anyone from the previous seasons squad let alone new players, so I am not concerned at all.  As we draw closer to August I may get concerned but at the moment things are fine.

As for Racon and Semedo, i was fed up of seeing our central; midfield carved up week after week by so called lesser teams, so good luck to them.  Kenny Jackett ain't gong to be at Millwall much longer and then we'll see them fall back.

    Not concerned either.

The whole infrastructure is different now. I kind of trust these new fellas to do the right thing and can't believe that if we now start to let players go, there aren't others in the pipeline ready to come in.

Although according to us, he was our most consistent player last season.
