I’d assumed that, but stuff like that (the window dressing) is done on scenery boards and just needs to be swapped in. If you’re then re-opening before any new training kit (released the next day) or actual kit (all we know at the moment is it will be previewed a week later, no idea when actually available), it just seems like a needlessly drawn out and poorly thought out process.fenaddick said:

Seems odd…closing the Club Shop for nearly 2 weeks for “restocking”, but training gear isn’t even available until the day after re-opening, let alone the new kit. Have we extended the “superstore” substantially to need 2 weeks to re-stock?fenaddick said:

Like every other season I’m starting to think I might buy a replica shirt though in reality it never happens because the only way I’ll get one is either from the shop or online. That shouldn’t be an issue but standing in the shop on a match day trying replica shirts for size usually isn’t practical, and it wastes pre-match drinking time.
what might help the process is getting an idea of how the sizes fit. Levi’s do this particularly well by simply giving the height and waist measurements and telling you what size garment (jeans, T shirt) the model is wearing - see below, the guy is wearing M size T shirt.
obviously looking at the online photos of the super fit players wearing shirts that don’t necessarily, IMO, fit them that well (though that’s probably because of the ‘poses’ they are doing) isn’t the greatest guide for everyone but it would be pretty useful for most of us.

Not sure if a hoax but apparently we're back with Nike and here's the new home offering....

And with an old Millwall sponsor on the shirt!!2

Just gone into club shop website to see if there was anything worth getting to wear during the World Cup. Settled for the white Osca shirt but disappointingly little stuff available. It’s such a missed opportunity not to get new replica kit out ahead of major tournaments and summer holidays.8

It's out ahead of the school summer holidays so no missed opportunity thereWeegie Addick said:Just gone into club shop website to see if there was anything worth getting to wear during the World Cup. Can tell people don't have kids, summer holidays are a long way away, and then go on for too longfenaddick said:

RSK extended last summer0

The initial deal needed to be renegotiated so they would be on the front of all the shirts. It’s not implausible that they paid the same amount of money due over 2 years to have the name on the front of them all for 1.sam3110 said:0 -
It was a new deal last year, the University of Greenwich away shirt deal ended, and RSK took on home and awayfenaddick said:

The 5 year deal signed in 2022 was for RSK to be our sustainability partner. The front of shirt sponsorship deal evolved during that time, initially with the University of Greenwich and then sole. Last year, RSK were announced as front of shirt sponsorship deal for the 2025/26 season. No mention of it being anything other than a one year deal as far as I can see. Not being shirt sponsor doesn’t affect the year left as sustainability partner.2

The 'go to' dining location of choice for anyone visiting the capital...........ElfsborgAddick said:CAFCTrev said:Realistically, how busy is the club shop during the off-season? I’ll still pop in, but I live just down the road in Woolwich. The majority of the fanbase isn't that local, matchdays are really the only time they’ll ever get there. Outside of kit launches, I’d imagine summer traffic is pretty minimal—probably only a handful of visitors in an average week.Whilst I was over in March I had time to kill as I had to collect my passport on the same day service they offer, this gave me four hours to kill.I thought I'd go to Woolwich for something to eat and on the way go to The Valley and have a look in the club shop.In line with what you said, I went in and not suprisingly there was nobody in there. I left disappointed as there were three staff in the shop and not one came over to ask if there was anything they could do for me, that was no big deal, but they could have at least made the effort. What was very disappointing was the the two young lads behind the till were chatting away and using foul language that I could hear at the rear of the shop.On the way out one of them said "thanks mate", this was not in sarcastic tones I hasten to add. This was the first thing they had said in the 5-7 minutes I was browsing around.8 -
They should be combining the sale of the new shirts with the sale of season tickets, maybe offer a discount if you combine the purchase of both. Fans walking around wearing a new shirt over the summer are walking advertising for the clubWeegie Addick said:Just gone into club shop website to see if there was anything worth getting to wear during the World Cup. Out of interest, does anyone know how many shirts the club sells over a season ?0

The wording on the RSK deal was slightly ambiguous. No idea if it will be them this year or not but I assume we'll find out in a few weeks
Having said that - if we got a new one it couldn't be any worse than Spud Bros which was a particular favourite of mine last season

I think the club should narrow the kit design down to 3 to 4 options then give anybody who pre-orders a shirt the chance to vote for their favourite. I think they could quickly let fans know what the home shirt is going to look like and when they will be able to get it and they would sell a lot more.
I suspect fans will most likely go for the best design.0 -
The kits are designed so far in advance this is impractical. You'd be pre-ordering the kit for the season after the one that hasn't even started yetMuttleyCAFC said:I think the club should narrow the kit design down to 3 to 4 options then give anybody who pre-orders a shirt the chance to vote for their favourite. I hope this isn't hinting at betting sponsorship, especially if it's multi-year. In part because it shows a lack of ambition and planningDamoNorthStand said:sam3110 said:

We aren’t in a position to take a moral stance I’d suggest. Money talks.fenaddick said:

I think we’re seeing a real lack of achievement in the Commercial & Sales department. I suspect that, whilst it’s great having a sponsor who are great fans as well, we need to generate more revenue to be able to spend and a lot of our deal with RSK is probably tied up in payment in kind for the sustainability work - I’ll add though that this is guesswork and none of us know the contract.fenaddick said:

Your edit was what I was mainly talking about. My ethical qualms about betting sponsorship are sadly not going to change anything in the real worldTelMc32 said:
