Extremely impressive to win the tournament with practically an under 21 B team (give or take a couple of players).

Pretty confident Carsley will be back in charge of the senior side once Tuchel goes. If of course he even wants the job.

Well done England, it was a good watch and nice to see players driving forward, instead of lots of tippy tappy passes that get nowhere.

I'm shocked actually we've never hosted the U21 Euros ourselves...

It usually moves between countries unlikely to host a major tournament — like a senior Euros or World Cup — often because of their size or lack of large stadiums.

That said, it’d be great to see the U21s play more games in and around London. I was at the Croatia u21 friendly at Craven Cottage in 2023 — we lost 2-1!

Enjoyable game, I thought we could have been out of sight by half time but for some poor finishing. All came good in the end. Shame multiple dick heads on social media have used it as a stick to beat the full team with rather than congratulating the youngsters.

Just watched the highlights. We have a lot of energy and talent in that squad.

Tuchel being at the ground was funny to see. Actually wanting his own nation to lose...or pretending so.
