At least Spurs could finish 8th in the Championship and have a chance of coming back up.

Can't ever be happy about Palace winning but Spurs getting relegated would be one of the funniest things to happen in all of recorded human history.

At 2-1 down Spurs were defending their 18 yard line & I was wondering what they should do.....I mean they need to win it so defending wasn't going to help was it

Now at 3-1 its probably game over. Their GD is a lot better than the rest down there so do they try & pull it round & risk getting beat 4 or 5 or shut up shop ??

Meanwhile on Spurs life - the pessimists and optimists are kicking off. The doomsdayers are saying it was must win and they are already down.

The happy clappers are saying they will win the champions league and that’s all that matters
These two things are not mutually exclusive, though one is considerably more likely than the other.

What is the shortest premier league managerial reign?

I thought Tudor was a really strange appointment from the start & they will go down if he stays there.  I don't really know who else they can bring in, but he is a terrible manager & they are a shambles.

    Dyche maybe?

Relegation Battle is looking juicy. Come On the Albion!!

Spurs could actually be in a bit of trouble. They have Newcastle at home in midweek and they've only won once at home since August. They then have 3 London derbies with Arsenal, Fulham and Palace before going to Anfield.

Realistically i don't think they'll go down but if they were to only pick up 2-3 points from those 5 games then things could get very interesting.
A few weeks later..........0 points from those 5 games.

Great night for George Graham's Arsenal, grinding out another 1-0 with City dropping points.

Massive game for Spurs tomorrow, while Leeds will be getting nervous too, despite having a pretty decent season for a newly promoted side.

Last season Leicester finished 3rd bottom with 25 points. West Ham in 3rd bottom already have 28.
Because the bottom three were so bad last year, Spurs kinda got away with it last season.  They finished 4th from bottom.  They did get 41pts, which statistically may have been enough regardless, but I think with their run in Europe and the fact the bottom three were so poor, it got slightly overlooked

I think Palace isn’t the worst team for them to have tonight.  They’re good as good a chance to get something out of it as opposed to other teams.  Their fans will want a win, but if they can’t win, a point isn’t a disaster
Spurs only got 38 points last season.
Bloody ChatGPT hallucination on my part

Still reckon Tottenham will somehow stay up. It's like when the prospect of Everton going down was dangled tantalisingly in front of us for a couple of years, but then they never actually got relegated.

But the way Liverpool are going at the moment, Spurs'll probably win at Anfield.

The fans are as pathetic as the players... Loyal supporters I don't think...

What baffles me the most is how this lot managed to finish 4th in the league phase of the champions league. Above Barcelona, Man City, Real Madrid, PSG etc.

Spurs are so bad, I genuinely think we could get a 0-0 against them

Would really like Spurs to go down, took the piss when they sent us down from the PL. I remember they sang “we’ll never see you again’….they might now!

You know its bad when your wife messages to ask 'are you ok?'
  • I reckon a cheeky little approach from us  to take Gallagher on loan next season.

Think he'd be keen to come as well.

I know John boy is a nice bloke but my brother who isn't so much is a spurs fan. And I would love them to go down. He's even got a cock and ball tattooed on his leg, the twat. Fortunately for spurs the geniuses that are the other EFL clubs have got them an easy out now if they do go down.

Whilst it would be funny if Spurs do go down, I don’t actually mind them and would much rather see West Ham relegated.
