Premier League 25/26

There’s no way Gallagher or 6 or 7 others will be at Spurs next season if they go down. It wouldn't surprise me if their agents had already got other options lined up in either The Premier League, Bundeliga 1 or Serie A.
They would take until the January transfer window to adjust well enough to be in play off contention imo, especially as I think their owners are clueless. They could even in more relegation woes.0 -
Spurs are so bad right now that i'm partly convinced it's self sabotage.jimmymelrose said:There’s no way Gallagher or 6 or 7 others will be at Spurs next season if they go down. The easiest way out of Spurs for a lot of them is for the club to be relegated so the club have to sell them to bring in revenue and reduce their wage bill. If Spurs stay up they are less likely to need to move them on. Romero and Van de Ven in particular have been awful in recent months.2 -
Have you seen Chris Thatcher on Instagram - A day in the life of a Spurs fan?JohnBoyUK said:

What the feck has happened to Gallagher? He used to be such a workhorse.
Had such high hopes for him.
Makes me laugh anyway.1 -
I love this:
Team gets relegated, players immediately jump ship saying they deserve to be playing in Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga etc.
If you deserve to be playing in those exalted leagues how da f*** did you get yourselves relegated? How about you aren't good enough?!5 -
Aparrently it's always the Managers/owners faultBriston_Addick said:I love this:

It's the managers and/or owners who are telling the players to miss open goals, leave oppo players unmarked, fail to complete the simplest of 10-yard passes, get themselves sent off etc?
No wonder I can't comprehend modern football.1 -
Indeed, do players get sacked after a run of bad results (due to said players performance) or is it the manager?Briston_Addick said:

Romero and van der Ven have already gone. Their attitude absolutely stinks.
Palhinha and Kolo Muane are on loan so they wont be there.
Ben Davies and Bissouma will be out of contract.
Vicario will be sold because he isn't even good enough for the Championship.
Thats 7 out of the door before you even consider what league we might be in.
I'll be honest, its easier to name the players I'd like to keep rather than name those that will leave.

Don't mind Noel but Liam's not to my liking.10

I'll be honest, don't have any thoughts on him really.EugenesAxe said:What's your thoughts on Gallacher?
Haven't seen anywhere near enough of him.
Short-term, he clearly hasn't had the impact that everyone was expecting but lets be honest, its been difficult for him. having 3 different managers in his first 4 months at the club.
Personally, I'd exclude him from any criticism, the position we're in is not down to him.2 -
Romero out for the rest of the season.
That could keep Spurs up!!!4 -
Tbh, in our group whatsapp, we just agreed we'd all rather Danso start in front of him, you know what you're getting with Danso. Can't pick a pass like Romero but you know he wont get sent off ridiculously.Gravesend_Addick said:Romero out for the rest of the season.

(Cue him getting sent off in one of the next games now I've said that!)1 -
Good news at last for Spurs, Romero will miss the rest of the season0
-
Any news on Romero?3

Come on Leeds
Send the Spurs down2 -
Abysmal first 45 minutes from Man U, they made Leeds look like PSG. Leeds are 2-0 up and will probably be disappointed it's not 4-0.0
-
And Martinez is sent off for pulling the hair of Calvert-Lewin0
-
Not sure that’s a red.0

I do get where you’re coming from, but it’s one of those zero tolerance things. And I think rightly so. He can’t say he didn’t mean to do it, he clearly grabbed it. That’s on him.2 -

Come backs on.......or is it?0

He's gutted that's he's lost the chance of getting sent off in the next game, and suspended for the rest of the season.Gravesend_Addick said:Romero out for the rest of the season.

I always thought a hair pull had to at least be aggressive or literally pulling the guy to the floor, that was neither.lordromford said:

The rules make me laugh though, you can wrestle and manhandle people at corners and nothing is done, but a slight pull of the hair and it's a red.1 -
Huge result for Leeds, takes them to 36 points and with Wolves and Burnley still to play at home they'll now be very confident of staying up.
Will they roll over on the last day at West Ham and send Spurs down?0 -
