Can't see them bottling it unfortunately. 9 points ahead with a better goal difference. Still see city dropping points somewhere. Hope I'm wrong.

If City can beat them the weekend after next that goal difference could be gone.

The goal difference isn’t that much.
If City win the games in hand and win the game against Arsenal, that’ll be a swing of 4 goals as an absolute minimum.
It’s not beyond belief for them to give someone a bit of a hammering.
It’s all ifs and buts though. As you say, there’s every chance they’ll drop points somewhere. Maybe even tomorrow against Chelsea.

Be typical of Chelsea to put in a performance tomorrow and balls things up for us all.

I have no bad feelings towards Spurs but it would be very funny if they went down. Their ground in the championship would be hilarious
Not that we’ll likely to be visiting it

    edited April 11
Arsenal fans booing at the end of their match. Booing. Booing a team that's 9 points clear at the top of the league.

    Laughable.

I'm not quite sure why but Arsenal notoriously struggle at this time of year. Is it fatigue, is it pressure? The comparison between Pep and Arteta when the league reaches the business end of the season is incredible.

In all competitions that win % in April falls even more to just 41%.

It would just be so funny hearing NFL commentators explain to an American TV audience that this ground is the home of an EFL club

Good to see VAR working well after Ref Jones gave Spurs a penalty which wasn't and the system accurately worked well and fairly quickly after the ref was called to the screen to reverse his decision.

Feel like the whole 'go and rewatch it' part of VAR is very performative. By the time it gets to that part, I don't think I've seen a single English referee ignore the VAR decision and keep his decision.

It has happened but the fact it’s so noticeable when it does is telling in itself

But they've equalised now, and Palace are 1-0 down at home. :)

    Just.saw this:

Conor Gallagher signed for Spurs in January, he has played 12 games under 3 different managers and hasn’t won a single game.

To be fair to Gallagher, not one Spurs player has been on the winning side in the PL since 28th December. That's a run of 13 matches during which time they've picked up three points.

Can’t believe Spurs are getting relegated and we’re going to screw things up so we don’t play them in the same league 🤣

Yep. Along with we’re having a party when Millwall fuck it up.

yeah let’s all laugh at a team battling for top two whilst we are cocking up a so called ‘safe’ position and 11 point buffer a couple of weeks ago

I just think Europe will take too much of a toll on Forest.

Spurs will beat Sunderland this weekend as Sunderland seem to be on the beach now. Nowhere near their early season form.
    The old reverse psychology

    3-0

The way they've started the second half Man City could wipe out their GD deficit compared to the Gooners this afternoon.
