Yes Spurs only need 1 point to stay up irrespective of West Ham winning the last game.Callumcafc said:Spurs 38pts
West Ham 36pts
Spurs have significantly better GD so the only way West Ham realistically stay up is if Spurs lose to both Chelsea & Everton and West Ham beat Leeds.0 -
I can see Chelsea beating Spurs, they'll want to impress Alonso, but Spurs will get at least a point against Everton anyway.

Even if they lose both, can't see West Ham winning their last gamekillerandflash said:I can see Chelsea beating Spurs, they'll want to impress Alonso, but Spurs will get at least a point against Everton anyway.0 -
Nothing official yet, but a couple of respected websites (& The Sun) reporting that Guardiola is leaving Man City at the end of the season1
-
How on earth was that not a red card?
Xavi Simons was sent off for similar against Liverpool1 -
Unbelievable decision not to send havertz off.0
-
Havertz definitely should be off.
Disgusting.
Get rid of VAR ffs0 -

Only switched on about 25 mins ago, has the whole game been this dull? Not much of an advert for the Prem if this is the best team against one of the worst.1
-
Arsenal haven't had a penalty given against them or a player sent off all season.
Definitely had the rub of the green.3 -
thats the thing, there's a major difference.Laddick01 said:

Xavi clearly catches van Dyke by accident in his running, yet Havertz actually deliberately makes a tackle.
How can VAR not give that as a red? Fuck all consistency and it drives me nuts. If that was Romero making that tackle, he would have been off.

Havertz very lucky not to get a Red Card. Wouldn't surprise me if it was settled tomorrow. Bournemouth to take something from City and Spurs to get the point they need at Chelsea.
3 -
Havertz should have gone, but then Arsenal should have a penalty in the first half, Saka scored without the Burnley player tripping him1
-
Also think Bournemouth get a point for European qualification tomorrow, if they win, they can still get a Champions League spot on the final day0
-
I've a funny feeling City win their last two and Palace nick something from Arsenal. Would piss myself too.2

And would make Sunday rather dull. Relegation & Title sorted with just a couple of European places to be determined. Don't think I care if its Brighton, B'mouth, Brentford or Chelsea that get the last couple of places.2 -

When you look at decisions like the Havertz one last night and the Gabriel headbutt on Haaland it does make you wonder if refs are favouring them this season after there was a lot of fuss last year about how harshly they were treated. The Rice sending off v Brighton for 'kicking the ball away' about 20cm being a notable weird decision that i've never seen given for any other team.North Lower Neil said:Arsenal haven't had a penalty given against them or a player sent off all season.

I’ve seen a yellow card given nearly every time the ball is kicked away to stop a free kick being taken0
-
It was more the circumstances around the incident with Rice. Ball still moving, ball in the wrong place, plus it only moved a few centimetres, plus the guy was clearly looking for it as no Brighton players were upfield at the time he was looking to boot it long. And in the same game Joao Pedro kicked the ball away and didn't get a yellow.MrOneLung said:I’ve seen a yellow card given nearly every time the ball is kicked away to stop a free kick being taken
But in any case the overall point is that i feel there was a general fuss about Arsenal being treated harshly last season, then suddenly this season no reds or penalties against them. Maybe it's just coincidence.0 -
The outcomes of those two games tonight can either settle who wins the PL and who gets relegated or they can push it to the final match. Surely Man City and Chelsea winning tonight must be what most of us are hoping for.2 -
Bournemouth and Chelsea for me.2
-
Not convinced the City result is going to matter much, as Arsenal will surely beat a heavily rotated Palace team. However it would be great if Bournemouth can get Champions league though.
Rather bizarrely though it could actually be better for Bournemouth's CL hopes to lose tonight.
Bear with me here:
If Bournemouth lose then City go into the last game v Villa with the title still on the line and will go full strength looking to win.
If Villa lose at City and Liverpool win, then Villa will finish 5th on goal difference.
This would then mean if Villa win the Europa league final tomorrow night, the CL places will go down to 6th spot.
Bournemouth would still be in pole position to finish 6th, even if they lose tonight.

Don't usually want Palace to win but might have to make an exception on Sunday.Athletico Charlton said:I've a funny feeling City win their last two and Palace nick something from Arsenal. Would piss myself too.2 -
