Tories tell you otherwise. Please tell me one section of society that haven't experienced falling living standards through a decade and a half (and more to come under Reeves) but have actually flourished.

Tebbit was major part of the Thatcher cabinet that destroyed the UK manufacturing base and impoverished large swathes of the country due to a bigoted dislike of unions. I'm not sure how old you are but you should read up on history before you make uninformed statements.

Do you respect the obituary threads of Jimmy Saville, Epstein, Rolf Harris,  Ponzi, Al-Fayed? I hope not. Tebbit is in that category.

Lord Tebbit was a divisive politician during the Thatcher administration. He did however speak for a large percentage of the electorate, given MrsT and her brand of Conservatism was re-elected more than twice. 

He was never a favourite of mine, I could see a political slogan disguised as a truism a mile off. (Get on your bike and look for work)
But he was an elected politician, and that is how democracy works.

They did a Saville one where strong words were had with people who suggested he was a nonce.
