Good Morning everyone, and welcome to todays Match Thread...
So This Morning, sounds weird saying that, but we have an early kick off today at 11.00 am over in Slovenia with Croatian side HNK Gorica
Gorica is a Croatian club based in the town of Velika Gorica, located just south of the Croatian capital Zagreb, they play their home matches at the Gradski Stadion, Velika Gorica, which has a capacity of only 5,200.
Looking at their current squad, it could prove challenging for Greg today when it comes to pronunciation of some of their names, whilst on the field Gorica could prove a real test for the squad, but at the same time a chance for Nathan to see how the training has done, and at the same time try out a few combinations, and a chance for us all to see Mr Whiz, Rob Apter.
Coverage of today's game, hosted by CharltonTV’s Greg Stubley, will begin at 10.40am BST..

Mildly annoyed I can’t watch this. A polite request that someone tries to work out formations if the picture quality is better than last year. Hard to tell where some of the signings will play so these games are useful1

We need to watch out for striker Marko Kolar bearing down on goal. Another forward who may be dangerous is Ante 'Freeze' Erceg as well as flying winger Filip Cuic who doesn't always take the ball with him. Another forward is Medin Gashi who leaves his mark on defenders.
As my Mate from Velika Gorica said:
"Your Shit aah" his English is coming on nicely.
Must win 😀

Ah clashes with the Lions. I’m with rugby mad family who will have it on the big TV so I’ll have to watch without sound on my little iPad. Makes it a bit more challenging to make out who the new and youth players are!0

I can't watch this even though I have bought the friendlies. Will the game be available later to watch?0

Am I right in thinking that you can pay £7 for the annual pass and then cancel it immediately?1

Yes, it does auto renew. You have to cancel it but like everywhere today, it isn't so easy as those sort of options are hidden or hard to find but you can e-mail to cancel. Even before the subscrition runs out as you can just say you don't want to auto renew.1

Definitely auto-renews, just went to buy it and found out I’ve been paying for it for 2 seasons lol.22

Seems we're wearing the new Away kit for this match.3

Another strong'ish first half side compared to last week
AMB > Kaminski, Ramsay > Mitchell, Rylah > Asiimwe, Dixon > Carey are the changes.
Hope the second half team is equally a bit stronger this time around.
Although suspect Rylah and Mwamba aren't in Slovenia0 -
3-4-1-2?3

Will be looking forward to the second half line-up...1

3-5-2 will often manifest into 3-4-1-2 if the attacking midfielder pushes on, just like it can becomes 5-3-2 or even 5-3-1-1 when under the cosh or a low block is called for.
1st half Zach will be RCB with Jones and Macca as the 3 CB with Asiimwe as RWB with Edwards as LWB.
Coventry, Doch and Carey in midfield with Carey the '8'.
Kanu and Tanto as the forwards.
Interesting to see how the 2nd half line up 🤔2 -
Is the stream up for anyone yet? - I thought it was starting at 10:40am?0

I imagine the second half XI could be something like
Maynard-Brewer
Burke Mitchell Bell
Ramsay Anderson JRC Enslin
Apter Leaburn TC3 -

Tanto sounds like a goodun and impressive in his interview, and he's a local lad, so welcome back home mate...0

Not a bad view in the background, we're not in SE7 anymore Tanto3

Sounds like Greg is reporting from his toilet.10

Notice that this is HNK's third match, after they've lost 1-0 against Shakhtar and then beat Siroki Brijeg 4-2. So expect them to be a touch fitter than us4
