  • Phase 5 has been corrected to

    Phase 5: 550 loyalty points and Valley Gold - Wednesday, July 30th @ 2pm

So Valley Gold members can buy in Phases 5 and 7 but not 6?

Edit: just seen the correction, makes sense now
  • Does anyone know how to easily see which games you've earnt loyalty points on? The 'history' section of the booking site is full of 2025/26 tickets.

Every game you've been to over 2 seasons?
  • That coach price is a joke
certainly is. someone is making a mint there.

I assume you’re commenting on @clive’s post as @killerandflash’s post now corrects the initial club wording and makes sense.

Correct me if I’m wrong but is the coach company based around the Margate area? Added costs on to the customer in petrol or diesel plus wages for said drivers travelling up to the pick up stops

Also the coach to Bristol Rovers last October was £23, so about a 50 per cent increase based on the area travelling to

yes they are. assuming the Club don't make any money out of the deal then coach hire of £1750 for a day seems extortionate.

maybe the price is a typo and should be £25 then, seems more realistic.

    .
  • Ah the cost of travel, kick off times, points needed with and without valley gold - footballs back !! 😃
  • Phases 1, 3 and 5 still included do they really need to be in there?

I'd imagine there is a lot more demand for coaches on an August Saturday than there is on a midweek evening in October.
A point well made Belvedere re the cost in August.

For reference purposes Wigan away last August was £33

They used to have that, as it was quite handy just to double check that the points total was correct. I think mine is correct (2 * 230 plus 9 away games in 24/25 plus Wembley =560)

The coach company’s based in Deal, I believe. This will add cost, although there are pick-ups in Kent. It will help with Valley Express.

Unfortunately we have moved away from a service provided for supporters to one which aims to maximise revenue for the club for minimum effort. By this I mean that charging £25 may well allow the club to make the same profit as £35 by running more coaches, but it’s easier to run fewer at a higher fare. The former is how the coach service was run historically, partly in order to provide an affordable option for fans.

I will be interested to see the fare for QPR.

That is not an attractive price for many, I would have thought the club could run this service at cost to get more fans to go.  Certainly an idea for getting people to attend The Valley.
That said, the price is a LOT cheaper than what many will be paying to get down to Bristol by train.
  • Just been on the National Express site and you can go for £14 return, for fans living in and around London this would be a lot more attractive option.
Granted that you still have to make your way to Ashton Gate but you cannot have things always.

  • Quite disappointed that they couldn't have added a few more phases of ticket sales.

It is beyond me how the ticket office arrive at these staggered sales, an absolute nonsense, no more no less.
  • £33 away tickets, welcome to the championship
  • £78 per adult, before food and drink and dragging along any junior family members. Going to be some pretty sparse away ends for us.

I thought they were capped at £30 but obviously not

No, the £30 cap only applies in the Premier League.

Premier League clubs have "unanimously" agreed to keep the £30 cap on away ticket prices for the 2025-26 season.

That's in the PL. The EFL quite bizarrely has no such ruling.
  • And for anyone who thinks £33 is expensive, wait until you see what QPR will charge us for our next away game after Bristol City.

For those who care this is what they're charging Preston on the opening day:
