As in you think 49 points is enough to stay up, or you think we will get the points needed regardless?

I think 49 points will be enough, as I can't see two of Oxford, Leicester and Portsmouth reaching that total.

Apart from Leicester drawing and us not winning, today's results have been pretty darn good.

Not really as we're now 15-pts from the Play-Offs, with just 15-pts available and Wrexham vs Southampton (6th vs 7th is next), so looks like my end of season prediction is going to fall flat.
Looked so possible still when Godden opened the scoring

Based on the table, 8 points clear with 15 to play for looks safe enough. Making up that kind of difference needs our form to drop off completely and all the teams between us and the drop to hit form at once.

We certainly don't want to get complacent but survival is in our own hands and it would take a truly spectacular fumble to mess it up now.

I agree. And it will be the play offs for us. Blew it today. Just looked tired. Although I think regardless of our result today Ipswich would’ve gone above us with their games in hand anyway. Just hope we can avoid Southampton in the playoffs

Boro are done imo.  Ipswich coming on strong now.  Really bad result for Millwall, but comparatively, their squad versus Ipswich in terms of resources and funds is a big, big gulf, they’ve done exceptionally well to be in with a chance of autos with 5 to play.  Norwich were the worst possible opponents today, up there with Soton on form and talent.

Playoffs will be interesting.  Definitely think Soton are the best team for ability, but Millwall are a good team.  Hull, Wrexham are a bit hit and miss for me, Boro are likely to splutter until them and probably be quite worn out from having been in the auto spots for so long.

They’ve been bang average every time I’ve seen them this season

We'll def be safe by time we play Ipswich, then 20k+ will be supporting Ipswich - in actual fact, why not let them have all the west Stand and the covered end - we'll all just cram into the AC stand - will be the strangest atmosphere going tbh with most Charlton fans supporting Ipswich

I'm hoping that 2nd place will be done and dusted by then so that we can just support Charlton.
I don't think that I'll bother going if we're safe and Ipswich need to beat us to deny Millwall.

Yeah Ipswich will have second spot almost wrapped up by the time you play them

Before our game Ipswich have the Derby against the best form side in Norwich.
Then both Ipswich and Middlesborough have to play each other then relegation scrapping Pompey.

Whereas Millwall have a QPR side with nothing to play for and a relegation scrapping but more relaxed West Brom.

Were 100% going to be in a position where Ipswich beating us is going to be the best result for us considering we’re likely to be safe after Preston and Wednesday games

Just abandon the game and give Ipswich the 3pts plus 3-0 win.

Knowing us Ipswich score an own goal and we get a 1-0 fluke win.

Millwall’s fixtures are decent for the run in, but I expect Ipswich to do enough.  They should maintain some momentum for the playoffs though.

I fancied Leicester to emulate Blackburn and WBA and get a few wins to pull away, but they’re really in a mess.  Oxford need to get a win against Watford on Saturday, otherwise I think they’ll slip away.  Boro look a spent force, especially at home, so perhaps Pompey can get a point, but Ipswich at home next Tuesday is tough.  Still don’t know which 2 of the three will go down.  I expect Blackburn and WBA to have enough

Derby lose Patrick Agyemang to a serious Achilles injury. Probably puts pay to them making a late run at the playoffs.

Awful for the player, especially as it's a home world cup

Crikey I’d forgotten Liam Millar played for us. He was decidedly average last night for Hull.

Even with Agyemang injured they still have 3 forwards at the minimum better than him

Depends on how many they want for the squad though, if they play 2 up top they need 4 strikers minimum
