something humorous about Wrexham fans leaving early2
-
How many games headstart did saints give everyone?!!! If they don’t go up they will be kicking themselves for sticking with the manager so long.4
-
That guy holding onto Rathbone will need to have a wash after the whistle goes0
-
That Southampton mob look rather good, and ain't it nice to wipe the grin off those Hollywood wannabe's mugs...😂😂😂2
-
So much quality in that Southampton side.
Wouldn't want to be meeting them in the play-offs!!2 -

Southampton are going to be very strong in the playoffs.3

They may skip the playoffs the way they are going, saints and Ipswich going to piss on the scums parade!😂superclive98 said:So much quality in that Southampton side.

Wrexham getting an absolute pasting is one of life's more recent pleasures.15
-
Highly unlikely but be great if Norwich could catch Hull and.get in playoffs. Would really damage Millwalls chances and ensure Wrexham didn't make it too!0

With the way they’re going reckon they get 2nd0

On Sunday it’s Birmingham v Wrexham. I wonder if the losing manager will get the sack at the end of the season. Both clubs have spent a fortune on wages and signings and I don’t buy the narrative on the BBC match thread last night that “plucky Wrexham” have done well to be in the top half, and Birmingham’s form has fallen off a cliff.3

Birmingham fans have wanted shot of Davies for weeks z would expect it happens at the end of the season.Killarahales said:On Sunday it’s Birmingham v Wrexham. Can't see anything changing at Hollywood FC , Parky is probably still in too much credit2 -
The media fake love for Birmingham and Wrexham will continue and owners can say whatever they like publicly, but both sets of owners will be disappointed and unhappy if they do not finish in play offs this season.Killarahales said:On Sunday it’s Birmingham v Wrexham. Yes, they had a memorable champions season, but otherwise they spent over £35million on players and are currently 2 places above us.4 -

Promotion is a two-edged sword. Staying up this season in the Championship and taking time to prepare for the next stage(s) had to be the objective for both of those teams and for us so basically they and we hopefully will have achieved that objective. Going up to the PL too soon could be disastrous for all 3 teams, we’d all have come straight back down again and the financial numbers will be off the charts - sure, the PL money would come in but we will have lost all control over what was going out and what was going on and we’d all probably be heading for League 1 again and new ownership again, likely more so the other two teams when they see the numbers.0 -
Brum's manager is really poor, he's also a bit of a wally. The fact they are only 4 points ahead of us is disgraceful, considering their outlay.stoneroses19 said:

Birmingham manager will be gone end of the season. He thinks he is better than he is and will fail at his next job and be consigned to managerial history records imo. For them to be 2 places above us with what they have spent and with their outward ambitions is very poor.
Wrexham should stick with Parky, their rise has been phenomenal and whilst they have clearly spent their way to where they have got you have to admire the speed they have achieved it. There are plenty of teams who have spent big and failed to get anywhere much.
They're real issue is if they were to stagnate mid table next season. The American interest is fickle and they can't afford to become a mid ranking Championship team as it would dwindle away pretty quickly and they would be in all sorts of bother.
Have to admit I would like to see it happen in a way but equally it is clear their success has bought the Americans to English footy, them ultimately falling flat would see a fair chunk of that dry up I suspect (and of course we are American owned..)4 -
No way will Wrexham sack Parky, as he's been integral to the project, and has so much goodwill behind him. Even if they finish 8th, that's still an excellent season.
Davies will surely go at the end of the season, though the transfer decisions have to be questioned too2 -

Birmingham's manager is very likely to be gone as there's no chance their owners will be happy with where they are, they've definitely underperformed their expected season target.Killarahales said:On Sunday it’s Birmingham v Wrexham. I can't see how Wrexham will sack Parkinson though. A club that was in non-league three years ago and is now on the edge of the play offs. Yes they've spent money but that doesn't always guarantee success. A top 8-10 finish for them after coming up is a good season and they will be strong next season. It was only two months ago that Reynolds said this:
"I just don’t see a scenario where Phil Parkinson gets fired. It doesn’t make any sense. He has been the architect, the creator of this. From our perspective, he’s got the job for life. Unless he finds another job he wants to go off and do, he’s our coach. He’s our manager. He’s our guy. I know that sounds silly and maybe irresponsible to say publicly, but the truth is that’s how we feel. And we have always worn our hearts on our sleeves. Always been as honest as possible.”1 -
If we finish above Birmingham, that would be a massive achievement, and very possible7

Sometimes life throws you a big bowl of happiness. Wrexham getting thumped are one of those moments6

That sounds like the dreaded vote of confidence.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

Got to say that they've backed him throughout their rise and he's delivered.0 -
Yeah, think you boys can breath a double sigh of relief. On last night’s showing we’ll definitely be in the same division next season 😬😬😬Laddick01 said:

Never say never but assuming Ipswich win their game in hand then they’d be nine points ahead of Southampton with five each to play. Tall order for second place. I also have a feeling that Hull will be the team that misses out on a top six spot.MrBurns said:

That would mean either Wrexham or Derby catching them, four and five points behind them respectively with five games to go. Possible of course but I don't see that happening.0 -
I’m not one to revel in others peoples failure, but I have this real pleasure in seeing Wrexham fuck things up, strangely even more so than our lovely neighbours, I don’t really know why, because all I generally care about is how we do.1
