It is the first time I have looked at the sale of tickets and the breaking down of the loyalty points.
It is very strange to have three phases in one day broken over different times, it's bonkers.
As an aside, this will easily go to general sale and there will be no need to worry about getting a ticket.

They should just put them on general sale straight away.

First time to Bramall Lane and first time going via Wembley to pick up my lad en route - a worthwhile detour and hope it proves as easy as it looks on route planner. Parking booked - for those that use Just Park some decent 6 min walk options still available.

Guess it’s done to reward those with the most points to be able to pick and choose there seats before the general sale scrum.

Good opportunity here for those who find it "impossible" to climb the points ladder to climb the points ladder.

Already have train tickets for me and the boy was hoping they would go straight on general sale as I don’t see us taking more than 2k there and I think that bottom tier must hold over 3k?

This is actually a fairly straight forward journey via public transport from London, and then a short walk from Sheffield Station, might have to be done

Does anyone know how many tickets one person can buy for this? Will it be the usual two?

Congratulations to Elthamaddick for being the first. ElfsborgAddick was very close with "this will easily go to general sale and there will be no need to worry about getting a ticket", but he didn't quite get the wording right.

Seriously though, I hope this gets to general sale because I only have 60 points...

Yep in the unlikely event it sells out looks like Elthamaddick will happily make his tickets available to someone else.  ;)

I'm almost certain it will go to General Sale and I'm not expecting us to sell out.

Mind you it would be nice to think it might sell out, based on the fans complaining that they couldn't get a QPR ticket and weren't getting opportunities to add to their points.

Looking at the wording on the Charlton website, it say that the "initial" allocation is 2403. I'm assuming they can provide more if we sell out; QPR away did not say an "initial" allocation, nor did they intend to offer us more than the 1800 or so we were given.

We took over 2k to Bristol City and it's a similar distance, just North as opposed to West.

Bristol City also had the pull of being the first away game of the season. 1,500 or so sounds about right to me too.

Fair enough, just checked, Sheffield is approx. 50 miles further from Central London compared to Bristol, my bad.

Agreed, however from St. Pancras it's approx. 2hours to Sheffield and only a 15 min walk to the ground, fore Bristol there was another change to Parson street and then a 20 mins walk. From what I've seen, trains are roughly the same price if you book in advance.
