    Free admission!

If you're willing to get down here 15 hours early! 😉
I’m already at the ground, hiding overnight. In the words of REM, that’s me in the corner.

Milll could put out their U21s, have 2 sent off, give us a 3-0 lead going into 2nd half injury time and we would still lose. Death, taxes and the Jimmy Seed toilets being trashed come 2.30 on Saturday. Add in a long walk the wrong way round in the rain to the station and you have the perfect day out. No chance will we win, 2-0 to Millwall.

    ...😉

Charlton over time tends to give me 10% joy, 90% misery.

Had a fair bit of joy over the last 6 months so can only see the misery coffers being boosted.

Without plagiarising Maddison too much, I’ve had a shit week and about to have a shit weekend.

    It’s the Charlton way.

Been distracted from the build-up cause of an exam today. Just missed out on passing it, so the day’s been pretty rubbish. Got a feeling tomorrow’ll be just as bad with us losing to Millwall
  • Many more comments on the After the Game has Finished thread than the preview thread sums our apathy up.
    0-1 Millwall.

At least it’s a 12:30 kick off, I can be over it by 4’ish and get on with my day.

13th try on the 13th day = misery as per

I am more excited by this one match than any match we played in our last stretch League 1. [play offs excepted]
    This one will be noisier
No way will tomorrow be a better atmosphere than the home play off semi final or Wembley final.  12:30 KO will put paid to that.
Different atmosphere triggers. For the play off it would have been a mix of anticipation, excitement and nerves. For the match tomorrow every single fan will automatically switch to ‘I hate those bastards’ mode at some point of getting to their seats and won’t dial back down again until they exit the stadium and start thinking about celebrating or drowning their sorrows.
Most recent games against Millwall have had pretty flat atmospheres.
Just wait till we win tomorrow...

Quite funny how the club has done zero content for this game as there's fuck all positive moments to celebrate since the 90s 😂

Probably for the best low key build up. Anytime we do big something up it usually ends in failure

We were bullied at QPR….expect more of the same tomorrow so we need more physicality from the squad….hope they are up for it…..cant see past a Millwall win TBH…0-1
  • I had a wonderful dream last night that we won 6-0!

    It's gonna be a nightmare isn't it.

Bear in mind Sheffield United have just been thrashed by Ipswich 5-0. As we're playing Sheffield Utd next Saturday, a win is vital here, ensuing we remain strong at home, and as you know their first win is going to be against us, it's just the Charlton way
  • Most people on here are expecting a loss…🤷‍♂️
    C’mon now we’re better than that ain’t we….
    …. 2-0 Win 👏👏👏

here's a fun conundrum... so if we played Millwall in a Wembley Play-Off final, who would win???

No idea but I could tell you who would have the most fans there.

    West Ham?

Think it’s a cert draw .. neither team will want to lose so think it will tight nervous game .. 1-1

Don’t want to see Campbell starting one because of his form and two he only arrived back on Friday due to delays .. so it’s time to go with Tanto and Kelman and give them a run in the team … think Apter role might change today with Bree coming in

more concerned with next week game at Sheff Utd once again a team got hammered a week before they play us .. I expect Sheff Utd may even have a new manager by then

I’m as optimistic as the other times we have played them. We either won’t turn up and lose 0-2 or we will be 1-0 up with 10 mins left and lose 1-2.

We just don’t have the stomach for a Millwall game.  Maybe it’ll be different this time with Nathan Jones in charge.

    Please just beat them once!

Gonna be lively for sure. I don't care how but we need to win. Leaburn with a glorious winner in front of the covered end....I can dream
Both Jones' to be red carded in second half but we sneak a win

Could actually see that happening and would take it all day long!

  • My son's first Millwall game today so hoping that will break the hoo doo.  Heart says we may just win it in front of 20k addicks with Nathan going mental on the touchline but head and experience tells me that may just be hope.

Looking forward to the derby atmosphere and the day with my boy plus getting in my extra daily steps on the trek back to the station after.

    COYA!
  • Sigh... Lets get this over with then... Maybe next year will finally be the year we do it

(Sorry just getting that last bit in early)

If you've got a VPN; set it to Poland and you'll be able to buy the Stream from CharltonTV

(Not sure if Thailand is on the list of International Broadcasters, as Charlton haven't released that info)

Best mate is Millwall and he's surprisingly pessimistic about this... doesn't think they'll score more than 2.

I’m not just saying this to cover myself, but with all the injuries and lack of fitness in our squad at the moment, this is the best time to be playing us and the best chance you will have had of beating us in years.

Anyway, off now. Will pop on later, depending on the result 😉
