I get how we feel we deserve more points than we've accrued, but lots of teams have said that and have been relegated. We need to get wins, and we've missed 2 games with Leicester and the scum, that were golden opportunities to have won the points we clearly have earned. I'm not saying we're going to be relegated after 5 games, but we have to grow up fast in this league and finish games. Sheff Utd will not be a push over next week, despite their results so far.
I’m on the 180 to the O2, still seething. Ramsay, arguably our best player did let us down, but didn’t he know it. Can’t see him doing that again.
Searching for a positive after we missed a great opportunity to bury the hoodoo/curse and that is that we look a better side than them, and they’re rated Too 10, possible playoff contenders. Burke and Bree both looked good, and Campbell, Bell, Jones and Coventry were excellent. No one had a bad game.
We’ve been undone by a red card, some absolutely class goals in other games. That’s what the championship is like I’m afraid, you get punished. We look solid defensively and have a good high press, but what does the system give us going forward? Is jones’ system getting found out?
A good performance against a very humdrum Millwall team who benefitted greatly from the sending off. Still a point is better than nowt- onto Sheffield United next week.
Not enough goals in this team for me. Loads of huff and puff but we're not creating enough. Three games in a row we've had the better of the ball and all three we've not managed to win.
For balance, tactically we look great, not 1 team has run over us, QPR got the win because we didn't play well. We just need to score when we're dominant. I hope that comes quickly, football is a confidence game.
I thought Carey was class today. Also thought we played really well. Silly foul from Ramsey, I genuinely think in that moment he forgot he was on a yellow. We can’t get on his back though he’s been amazing for us and is a big reason why we are in this league with Millwall. Loving how competitive we are in every game this year. The wins will come, I believe!!!!
Great post. The fact that we have been competitive in every game so far is a huge thing for me. Shows we are not going to be bullied/mugged off/ by any team, and if any team wants to beat us, they will need to be at their best.
We're cursed against this lot. Thought we played OK. Too much long stuff in the first half straight to their giant centre halves and didn't get it into TC's feet enough. Proper brain fart moment from Ramsay that's changed the flow of the game completely. Ref had no choice but a 2nd yellow. Need to see their goal again but looked poor pushing the ball back into the middle of the 6 yard box.
Millwall fans were extremely quiet barring their goal. Fat prick in the East thoroughly deserved his smack in the mouth.
Closest we’ve come for ages. Architects of our own downfall. Hugely frustrating but surely no one is surprised?!? At least we didn’t lose, I guess.
Still searching for that right formula in attack, but some positive signs, imo, from Kelman today. Need it to click soon because teams are starting to find ways to stretch us a bit more defensively now, which was always going to happen.
Nothing to panic about, yet, but still lots of work to do, which is to be expected.
Now we’ve got this anomaly of a game out of the way, hopefully we can focus on the job in hand which has always been staying up - nothing more, nothing less.

Set-pieces are awful and the number one thing I want us to work on.
Thankfully we started to see a bit of variation as the game grew on. Because we started with the typical "aim for Jones at back post" approach, which like you've said in the past, has become very predictable... That and the "long throw"

Top bit of man management there, ramsays taken to the championship like a duck to water but he still has lots to improve on before he can see himself as a top championship defender
A game of some poor options, the starting line up being one of them. Kelman did ok but having Apter and Campbell playing wide leaves him on his own when he needs players close to link up with. There are only so many times that Carey can bust his arse to get up in the box. Where are the goals going to come from? At this level even Gooden will struggle to make an impact playing as a lone ranger.
Also, too many times today, particularly in the first half, players made the wrong choice on the ball (Apter was probably the worse culprit). This will probably iron itself out as the players get to know each other better in coming months. You saw more instinctive understanding once Leaburn and Campbell (who, of course, know each other's game inside out) linked up in the second half.
Finally NJ should perhaps have taken off Ramsey when he was on a yellow - given he had Bree waiting on the sidelines as a natural replacement. The sending off gave Millwall all the impetus they needed to get on the front foot (for the first time) and squeeze out a draw. All very frustrating and we hope that lessons have been learnt. Ramsey should be sent to the naughty corner for a while.
Millwall looked rather ordinary and its easy to see how they grab points away from home but might struggle to lift their game at home. But they do have some real potential coming off the bench though as shown today.
Disappointed…we will not get many chances to beat what I thought was a woeful Millwall side…the number of bad passes and Mis-controlled balls they had…shame Ramsay lost his head
TC with his best performance so far this season by a long way when he turns and runs at defenders he is so dangerous and today he had that intent from the start which is great to see. Like the Leicester game we will play worse and win this season.
I was amazed when I saw Bree getting readied but not replacing Ramsay.
Bree isn't a Centre-Back, always felt he was replacing Apter, unless Jones was going to change shape, which would have been strange in itself.
That first round of subs, needed Burke on as well, if Ramsay was to come off, but again, its times like that were Jones should be able to rely on the discipline of his players.

Wrong subs, even before the sending off. Took off all the pace & skill and brought on lumps & defenders.
No-one to relieve the pressure & we were lucky in the end to get a point.
