Feel Tanto might start along with Leaburn. Think Apter may also come in as we might go for it and will get more balls in the box if those 2 start up top. Tanto also has the ability to run in behind aswell.
3-1 CAFC (Tanto, Doc, L.Jones)1 -
I think we will see the exactly same starting 11 as that which won last weekend. While the subs changed the formula, overall, I can’t see Nathan wanting to shuffle the team having given such a good account of themselves.2-0 to Charlton - think this is the game we take more than one chance while continuing to keep it very tight at the back. Fancy Lloydy to convert a chance - has to come off soon he is getting at least a chance a game I think.4

For tomorrow I think we will see Ramsay in for Burke and then maybe Apter for Bree but I could see Bree keeping his spot
Ismael is a bit like Jones in how much he loves a press to try and pin teams in. I’d play Ramsay tomorrow for that reason as he and Bell should help us beat the press2 -
I can see Apter or Ramsay returning, maybe both, but no changes elsewhere. Going to be a close game, they have been good away from home, but I'm going for a 2-1 home win. Kelman to open his account, Tanto or Leaburn to get the winner.0

For the train spotters amongst us tomorrow is the 200th anniversary of the launch of the Stockton/Darlington railway.12

Score first will not lose.
I do not know how much longer we can say this, but hopefully a lot longer

We’ll need to score to get anything out of this.0

This league is clearly extremely relentless, I don't think Tuesdays game will even enter into the conversation on resting and rotating etc. Nathan will play his strongest team possible then Tuesday again will be strongest of who's fit.
Personally don't think he'll change a winning team, Bree and Burke to start.4 -
3-1 to the Addicks.1

My first game of the season and very up for this
I’m positive about our chances as well. I think last week’s win could’ve really given us a shot in the arm. Like every game this season we’ll face yet another tough team, but I don’t see why we can’t get a tight/hard fought win
1-0 us. Kelman0 -
Bret Hart’s Charlton vs Shawn Michael’s Blackburn Rovers. I sincerely hope Earl Hebner isn’t refereeing the game1

Some interesting selection issues and a very difficult one to call, although Nathan sees these players every day in training and knows where they're all at.He may keep an unchanged side, although my feeling is that tomorrow’s line-up may reflect both the characteristics of the next two opponents and the fact that we're at home tomorrow and away on Tuesday. If so, I'd expect Ramsey - with his recovery pace to deal with Blackburn’s counter-attacks - and Apter - to give us a bit more attacking verve - to play tomorrow. In that event, Burke and Bree may well start on Tuesday to give us a bit more solidity and counter Derby’s physicality and threat from set pieces.I don’t see Nathan changing the front two. Campbell is playing well and he may feel he needs to persist with Kelman, at least for the time being. As in the last few games, I imagine that Leaburn and Tanto will get some time off the bench and I’d expect one of them to start against Derby.Another tight game in prospect.1

1-0 win. Robbie Apter with the winner.0

Tight game ahead and unlike last week I would think a few more Addicks favour us to steal this. Not sure, Blackburn look quite similar to us with their 1-0 wins and I think they might sneak this, 1-0 to Blackburn.0

Kelman will score

The Blackburn crest always gives me nostalgia, getting it as a shiny for the premier league album.I think it’s a great game for Kelman to start and Nick an early goal if we play to his strengths.
wonder if JRC will get on the pitch too?6 -

How many tickets sold?0

Only a few home blocks have sold out so far and it seems clear that Blackburn haven't shifted their allocation of 2,000. Maybe an away following of 1,600 - 1,700 ?
Hopefully we'll sell some walk ups tomorrow but I think this will struggle to make the 20,000 mark.1 -
Have we a match on Saturday ? Haven't given it much thought what with the Ryder Cup being on.
So you'll all be glad that I wont be posting much on the Match Thread.....if at all. Might just have time to switch channels on Sky to see the updates on Soccer Saturday once in a while.
My prediction......Rory to secure another point for Europe, and TC to do the same for us
1-1.8
