For those that like watching the action on the pitch, it's quite a good watch tbf, and really demonstrates how dominant we looked at times.https://youtu.be/u6YtafttiG0?si=2vqgs00Y2cXnGmSR
I am nearing 250 shy of 2k subs as well, so if there is anyone who hasn't subbed and enjoys the videos I would massively appreciate the subs, aiming for 2k by the end of the season and a 100% season, haven't missed a game yet and hoping to vlog all 46 as long as I don't get ill again
Great quality visuals and seem to have sorted your sound issues, just need to sort the hillbilly hair 👍

I hit play with the sole intention of working out where you were between 2.55 when I saw you pass the Valley Cafe to be 12 minutes late to the match. Making content of course!
I have subscribed. Great stuff.
(so pleased for Denzel too as that first 20 mins could have put anyone off coming back if we'd not gone on to play as well as we did)2 -
I couldn’t believe how frequently (and easily) we took the ball off Blackburn yesterday.
The most ridiculous one was Tanto near the corner flag with two defenders doubling up on him and he still came away with the ball!
Amazing!5 -

Chunes said:Bumped into Curtis Fleming in The Pelton Arms after the game. He is apparently a big Smiths fan and was there to watch a tribute band (who were surprisingly excellent). He couldn't have been nicer. Says he thinks Rob Apter has probably been our best player this season and is so unlucky to be out of the team, but James Bree has been outstanding (and in training as well). Also says he rates Lloyd Jones as one of the top CBs in the division. Got the sense he is the good cop to NJ's bad cop - the one putting his arm around players and telling them how good they are when they need to hear it.
He also said the referee was appalling, and he told him at half-time that he was letting the young players down.
And he confirmed that Nathan Jones does live in Greenwich and rides a Lime Bike.
We were a little worse for wear, so hope we didn't annoy him too much! But he is a top bloke.1 -
@Braziliance
’Tants…is tantalising them’ 🤣5 -
What a difference having a stronger squad makes. All five of our subs were excellent and game-changers. I am even not quite so worried about losing Lloyd Jones for a game or two now.3

If you looked up committed in the dictionary, there would be a picture of Edwards grinning back at you.1 -

2) I didnt think he was that bad tbh.
A blatant push on a player was ignored and a later one punished with a FK AND a yellow. This seems to be part of a new two tier system where a foul is more serious depending on where it takes place.Jones yellow was for persistent foul play and was justified IMO.He got a lot right, I just think this “letting the game flow” is bollocks. If it is a foul you either consider play on or give the foul.6 -
That was about as good a second half as I can remember since the pre Duchatalet days. A team we can all be proud of and an atmnosphere to match. And looking at the bench before the start I felt it was strong rather than, as so many times in the last two decades, thinking that we are an injury away from being in deep mire1

Agree about Connor and Greg but Games are won and lost in both boxes unless you get a belter from Sonny Carey outside !
Against Leicester we played some good football but couldn't score and against Millwall we were the better side until Ramsay's brain freeze cost Cafc 2 points.
We won many games last season without dominating in midfield but there feels a Paradigm shift with Coventry and Docherty linking play and stepping up in the Championship over the last few games.
Other than away at QPR where the home team deserved their win after we made one mistake too many we are looking so much stronger this season with a better squad.
18 clean sheet by CAFC is the best in '25' in the top 4 leagues with 4 coming from 7 in the 2nd tier.

Stayed in Ashford but underestimated the traffic and then it was fairly rammo, gonna make sure I am at Derby and Preston nice and early1 -

I watched our U18s beat Colchester United 6-0 in the morning. Then had a Millwall fan (in a Barcelona shirt) threatening to beat me up on the bus for supporting Charlton. Of course, he was all mouth and this quickly changed to bragging about how they were above us in the league. Well, they aren't any more.
Seeing nine Charlton goals in a day is certainly a first and it should have been double figures.
It'll be boxed up in my dusty attic, of course! 😄12 - Sponsored links:

First 20 minutes were touch and go for both teams, with them slightly on top it must be said, with the unfortunate injury to Edwards resulting in his substitution with Macca, came a renewed strength and resolve, and it was not a surprise when Macca headed home a brilliant goal at the far post, a header made to look regulation but was everything but.
So 1-0 half time, second half arrived with a burst of aggression on our part, and we should have increased our lead by at least a couple of goals long before Careys exocet from 20 yards out after a nice assist from Tanto that left the keeper grasping in thin air, and the third was another nice finish from Bree, a man quickly cementing a place Ramsay will have to fight for.
So 7th spot it is and we go again Tuesday up at Pride Park where Derby County are our hosts going for a hat trick of wins, and who's to say we wont get that result...COYR4 -
Bell is up there already as my PotY. LCB or LWB, he looks equally comfortable at either, even though their 2 yesterday had him beaten for pace.1

To be fair, the whole squad is putting a shift in when on the pitch.
You won't be playing for Jones otherwise.
I think he is in the process of building something special here.7 -
