    That was a good one.

I was there that day and the second half goals were from Mortimer and an Andy Jones header from a great run and cross by John Humphrey.

Best team goal I’ve seen from us.

JJ’s free kicks on successive weeks ?

Hales at Southampton - night game I think - around 1976. If I remember rightly Hales scored even though his arm was in a sling. Mick Channon clapped him back to the half way line. Lost 3-2.

    Steve Brown Vs Bradford

Ahmed Kashi Vs Peterborough in the cup

Dale Stephens also scored a banger against Doncaster.

Team goals in struggling to think of one anywhere near....maybe Conor Gallagher Vs Fulham when Forster caskey whipped the ball, solly headed it back and it dropped to Gallagher

Morts got an absolute pearler in that Bradford game too
He also scored a beauty in a night game at Everton. Even the home fans were applauding.

Peter Garland v Bolton at The Valley always sticks in my mind as a thunderbolt into the top corner but it was about 400 years ago so if someone found the footage now it’s probably a 5 yard tap in.

I still think Bree’s goal is the best I’ve seen all round. Incredible team goal with one touch football from Kaminski’s kick, then an absolute rocket of a finish.

    David Whyte scored some beauty's.

Overhead kick at home v Sunderland I remember cos I was ill with the flu but against my Mums wishes still went to the game.

Also a great volley away at Swindon in the Coca Cola Cup, and a lob on the run against Watford.

Did he ever score a tap in?
Definitely our version of Matt Le Tissier

    Virtually anything by Paul Mortimer

Colin Walsh scored a few specials as well
Two stand out in the memory, the one v Chelsea when we won 3-0, started the season so well but got relegated, and when he weaved through three or four players in a 4-0 or 4-1 win early on in the season we won the Championship.  Similar to this one against Norwich https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZCTbYWVVxM but he hit it better at the end.
Yeah that's the Bradford goal I was referring to above. Can't find it on YouTube - same game as Browny smashed one in the bottom corner from about 25 yards out.

Shaun Bartlett’s volley against Leicester has to be up there with the best.

I can remember a Scott Wagstaff volley from outside the area vs Bournemouth back around 2010 which was pretty good.

Ricardo Fuller's goal against (I think) Peterboro. The winning goal, which he absolutely smacked in from distance and promptly done his hamstring :-(

That game was great. Their goal was a sneaky handball, super Clive scored the other two quite early on in his time here, and there were two brawls with all 22 players. It's the only game my sister went to and she said it was boring.

There have been some amazing individual goals, but in terms of team goals with so many individual elements of skill, the goal against Derby was as good as many I remember. The Bartlett one included that awesome ball from Stuart as well

Paul Mortimer’s solo goal away at Norwich back in 88 is the one that sticks in my mind the most, just pipping the rocket he got against Chelsea the following season.

Jensen got one away at Derby that was outstanding in a 2-2 draw, as a team goal .

  • I remember Jason Euell scoring a pretty cool volley against Southampton once upon a time.

Was one away at Yeovil, think Danny Green scored a really late winner?
Nah the Stewart one I'm thinking of was a 25 yard volley at home
At home to Leeds, insane goal.

We lost 4-3 and Ross McCormack scored all 4, a couple of which were pretty spectacular.

Just relieved we wasn't called struggling Charlton in this one
