Injuries, injuries. Just pleased we are on 20 points for our Nov slump. Watched the Baggies v Ipswich and they did ok for so long without really threatening. Could be a good time to play them as Mason is under tge cosh right now. Tough game but due to those missing I am going 1-0 to West Brom.

Wow, really optimistic bunch on here today! We saw one striker break his duck at the weekend, another will do it tonight, with a TC brace in a 2-0 win. No reason why not.

I'm expecting Hernandez to make an appearance as he seemed a very high energy factor on Saturday.

Given the injuries , which may include Jones, I fear a tonking tonight. WBA would have to be very poor not to take advantage.

Id like to see Karoy give Doc a rest. Without the ball he should be a 10 due to his press, but when we get possession he needs to be a decoy runner to give Carey space to drive into.

Expect us to look quite tired and with injuries, I’d expect a performance not much better than Swansea. Will be a real test of the squad

Have a bad feeling about this not just because of the injuries but because we’ve looked knackered the last two games .
    0-2

West Brom to win by at least 1 goal @6/1. All over that.

The advantage we have this season compared to recent years, even last season, is that we have a stronger squad overall. Last season Jones getting injured was a big part of our troubles (1 win in 7 without him) as we shifted mostly to a back 4 to cope without him and had to use REG, the Mitchell brothers and Watson to fill in. Even later in the season we recognised that problem and brought in McIntyre who, as much as he wasn't perfect, put in some very good away performances to see us across the line at Mansfield and Cambridge. Not having Small or TC available was an immediate death to our setup as well. This season though we've got good cover; Gillesphey for Bell, Ramsay for Burke, Tanto for TC if needed and Apter for Bree. We're a bit unlucky that the one area where we don't really have enough cover we've got two injuries but we also have a very highly rated youth player who could fill in there so it's not all bad. Being able to replace good players with other good players instead of subpar backups and youth players who clearly aren't ready is a huge improvement and it means we don't necessarily have to fear the injuries as much as we used to

I don't buy into all this tiredness talk.
Every team in this league has played exactly the same number of league games as we have.
(Blackburn v Ipswich abandoned game  apart).
Some have also played more cup games than we have as well.
I know we play a high pressure type of football but so do some other teams.
Bottom line our players should be no more tired than any other teams players.
    2 1 Charlton tonight btw

Wow, judging by a lot of the comments on here, we may as well all not bother turning up!!!!

2-0 defeat tonight. Injuries will unfortunately stop our promotion push with Kelman out

Three regular U21 players not in the squad for their game today (Fullah, Mwamba and Gough). Could mean that at least one of them make the bench with the other two potentially being the standby players

Fullah is often in the match day squad I think, he was at Ipswich warming up but not in the team.

A few of us think Mwamba is injured. The other two I expect to be in and around the squad

Don't get the negativity and why we are going to be tired after playing on Saturday. Swansea were a good side and outplayed us after we went ahead, it happens.

At home and with a few injuries, I would be happy to see us play 4-2-3-1.

Press from the front and utilise some players who have struggled with minutes of late. It brings Tanto, Knibbs, Apter, Fullah and Onel into the fold.

I'm surprised Enslin played today for U21s as we have no left sided cover. I can understand wingers playing on the wrong side, but not FB/WB. Bree or JRC, both right footers are our only alternatives, assuming Hernandez starts.

Mark Bowen was a rare example of a successful wrong footer.

Imo, putting Apter into a five man defence is like running out of mortar and finishing off a wall with sand. Leave the kid to playing in an attacking position where he belongs, and can do great damage to their wall instead.
He got player of the month first month of the season playing in a 5 man defence.
No point even replying to him - just like @golfaddick, he has no idea what he’s talking about. It must run in the family.
Oi, don't drag me into this thank you.
