Surprised how negative people are being. We're pretty low on energy granted but we're also pretty untroubled so far. We should be one up but we've had plenty of games where we've been far better and still gone in 0-0 at halftime. The key thing is to get to the last 10 without going behind and then we can do our traditional late show
Doesnt take long for the negativity to start does it...
    I’m not…for once!!!

Good strength from TC to hold off his man and get the ball to Doc, who bombs up the left and thought he was fouled but ref not fussed.
  • Oh come on, that barge on Docherty was worse than anything that Leaburn has been penalised for

Reminds me of a League One game. Lowest quality game so far.

    Brum 2-0 Millwall...ain't all bad
  • I’ve said it repeatedly. He is nowhere near this level. A complete liability. He runs around a lot, and offers nothing going forward. Terrible decision to let him take the penalty. We must upgrade on him in the window. League one player at best.
He's been outstanding this season!! - Criminally underrated
Not faulting his effort, but he creates nothing. He’s too slow and limited for this level. Coventry makes him look a lot better than he actually is. Look how poor he was in the game where we rested Coventry?
He's not designed to create anything, Carey is the runner, Coventry is the passer... Docherty breaks up the opposition play
And then does what with possession once he breaks it up? We have to be more ambitious than wanting our midfielders to be limited to tackling and backwards passing? He genuinely can’t pick a forward pass out or drive with the ball? It was fine for league one, but I’m stunned that people think that’s going to help us grow as a championship team.

Obviously take it but Birmingham are scum too

  • Well despite the "strong" West Brom start, and a lacklustre one from us

Its turned very even, not the most enjoyable viewing, but we've "improved" as the game has ticked by

I’ve had to watch 45 minutes of dross and a Greg Docherty penalty.

I preferred the Crawley drubbing last year.

That was a soft free kick compared to some of the things the ref has let go against us.

Feckin hoofball.  Feel like someone's transported me back to last year.

Two shots in the whole half and one of those was a penalty. Somewhat embarrassingly, given we are at home, WBA have had eight shots by comparison.

I blame Kelman who has been totally anonymous. Any forward worth his salt would have grabbed the ball from Coventry to take that penalty. We should bring Godden on for him right now.

Free kick launched into the box, headed away by Leaburn, ball back in flicked out behind for a goal kick.
    And that's half time.

Another first half we haven’t conceded a goal, that’s 2 in 14 games. Some effort

    Poor poor game.

    Our passing has been woeful.

    No real attacking threat.

And when we are given a penalty we still cant score.

Second half can only be better...for us, after NJ has given them both barrels...

People would be happier if we got relegated and were beating Burton 2-0. We're not always going to be brilliant at this level. The grumbling from the crowd is a bit disappointing.

Looked lost this half. Thankfully West Brom don't look much better but what a chance to give up with a truly awful penalty.

    Been absolutely atrocious!
Leaburn and TC don’t look interested- and we’ve actually tried to do is lump it long or go backwards.

Hernandez hasn’t had enough of the ball, cov and Macca seem adamant not to pass to him. We equally don’t seem to want to get the ball in the box nor cross

Its got us up to 8th at the moment... Think some of you need to start being a bit more realistic

Feels like our impressive start to the season, is creating a lot of unrealistic expectations

Greg Docherty has been good for us so far in his role this season.

However, Jones aside, I think he’s the least technically able outfield player.

I just can’t see the logic.

    Ref poor and one-sided imo.
    Players tired and disjointed.
Penalty poor but shouldn't have been on his shoulders.
Second half we come out and win 3-0.
