Bielik returns, great for us but tonight .. I hope he stinks the place out, likewise Grant
Despite a few injuries we still look pretty strong

I wonder if Knibbs will play as a striker off the bench. He's played there before, and with his physicality seems more suited to it than as a Carey replacement.

    You feeling quite well FA?
For picking up the mess on the Match Preview
Ah right, no problem. I was momentarily confused there, and wondering if you were trying to pre-empt another yellow card for non-contextual ejaculations on the match thread

Stadium looks stunning at night. Seriously impressive. With someone who’s never been here before and he said it feels like a Prem stadium all over

Don't mind me saying but a few people are over cooking the injury thing. Its exactly why we bought in the number of players that we did and realistically there was every chance they would get a chance to stake their claim for a place, that proved to be the case with Ramsay's sending off against Millwall, he had the position, loses it, and ended not being first choice. A lot of posters were calling for changes, well let's see how it pans out before we start casting doubts.
Defensively we are starting Hernandez and on the bench we have two kids with zero league appearances between them and Rankin-Costello. Don't think that's over cooking the injury thing.
Fullah played at the end of last season. Hit the bar iirc as well

    Kelman injured celebrating?  :D
  • Forgot that Josh Griffiths was back at West Brom now

Very good Goalkeeper who kept Bristol Rovers (when he was on loan there) in the match at the Valley last season

Ok, a game, but you get the gist. And that was a sub appearance if I recall.

worried about Gillesphey's lack of pace getting exposed with Hernandez as the LWB. Other than that happy with the team as long as we dont lose another defender. Hoping we get at them from the start so we dont get too attacked down that side.

Been having a little bit of a rough time mentally at the moment. Was hoping to get down there but work didnt let me. Watching at home now. Hope Charlton give me something to shout about!

I expect Hernandez was brought in to be an option at WB, it’s no more a problem than it is playing Apter there.

It was injuries that completely destroyed our last season in the championship, absolutely dreading a repeat
It was far more than that, including a certain player refusing to play. We’re in a very different place now with a fair amount of squad depth too. It’s not a repeat
I wouldn’t say that we’re that far off. And it was way before the snake’s actions that we were in for a struggle.
Absolutely miles off it. When we played West Brom that season we had to start Dempsey who was a National League level player at his peak, League Two's Josh Davison, Andre Green and Deji bleeding Oshilaja with Tomer Hemed coming off the bench. At one point I think we had 11 injuries and we were lucky that Doughty, recalled from a non-league loan, had a breakthrough season. We have 4 injuries right now, one to an injury prone player who we have incredible competition for, one to a striker who has three rivals at his level, a CB who is covered by our Wembley hero and a LWB which is why we signed Hernandez. There's no player anywhere near this squad at the abject level of Dempsey or Davison

Anyone know exactly what Kelman has done to himself? Wasn't even aware of a rumour but as FA has said our Nathan doesn't say much so we're in the dark again.
Hamstring injury is the rumour that was going around on Social Media, so could have three of them to suddenly deal with, as suspect thats what Bree and Burke have got to recover from as well, the way they pulled up on Saturday.
Probably got it reaching up awkwardly for his goal!
