Would have definitely been the case this year whether it will be next year depends on how good of a summer we have. 

As the retained list shows we have a lot of players to trade with 

Most of that squad is guff and won’t be tradeable for anything but free 

For championship level a lot of them aren’t good enough but will do a job at L1 level there will be takers. Ahadme definitely won’t Burke wouldn’t, Kaminski probably not, Macca probably not maybe players like Z.Mitchell, Dixon you’d just throw in a sell on clause but I don’t see why you can’t get a fee for anyone else 

I think permanent deals will be pretty tough for any of our senior players that we want to move on. They’ll be on good contracts now with the promotion wage bump, it’ll be loans or we will have to pay them off 

I think Mitchell is probably the only player we will get a good deal for. Could maybe sell Gillesphey to league 1 but the fee is probably just going to cover what we’d have to pay him for him to agree to take the wage drop to league 1 

There always seem to be the assumption that as soon as players go from L1 to championship they suddenly get on wages which are unattainable for L1 clubs if that’s the case you would never see players move permanently from the championship to L1 which just isn’t the case like we’ve seen with REG, Macca, Godden etc. 

Kaminski and Ahadme are the only real difficult ones that we can shift, if your thinking more of Apter, Tanto they should be easy to move but it’s just do we get enough money that makes us think it’s worthwhile getting rid rather than hoping they come good or if it’s like Coventry would we get an offer that’s worth getting rid opposed to keeping him as a squad player
