When's the next signing gaffer? 100% accuracy from you if you don't count any other day!!!
Fingers crossed on Wednesday. Don’t think we will announce one tomorrow although I’ll still say it anyway 😂

Seems to be lauded for his versitility. I wonder if we will see a backline of Bree, Ramsay, Jones, Macca and Clarke on Saturday?

Understand he is right sided bit wondering if NJ would rather have a specialist defender there instead of TC, and allow Campbell to play further forward and / or as an impact sub.

I think it’s unlikely he’s chucked in to his first game of the season at LWB. Would suspect he will be on the bench and will come on for one of Burke/Ramsay depending on who is playing RCB

If he’s fit enough and better than we have, play him
  • Admin, @CB1 predicted that this would happen today and is obviously in the know...... Give him a promote

    That's Ramsey off then. 🙂
That was my thought but not necessarily and probably gives us a better negotiating position in the summer when Ramsey is likely to be made a 'sign or on your bike' offer. Be very surprised if there aren't clubs currently further up the food chain interested in Ramsey.

Ipswich owe us a good un - they've more than got their own back over the years after we took Mat Holland.

How has Lyndon Dykes become the most wanted player in the Championship. I wouldn’t even be that excited if we signed him on loan.

With the way Leaburn has played the last few games I’d be OK if we missed out on this one.
I was wondering this. Having not seen much/any of Dykes play to be honest, is he necessarily an upgrade on Miles who has really hit his straps recently without necessarily banging the goals in?
Needs a rest though, like so many of our players, Tyreece being another. I dont meean being left out, but being asked to do 60-70 max

Spoke to my mate, he says we’re in for Harry Clarke. Don’t know how much truth to the rumour. Don’t shoot the messenger.

Do we think signing Clarke means we can't agree a deal with Southampton to extend Bree's loan? Or is this likely additional cover with burke/Ramsay's fitness issues.

I think he'll be competing with Burke and Ramsay and Bree/Apter will be wing back options when we have a more stable left side of defence

Probably with the idea of keeping both, but it's good to have him in before Southampton come calling, as at least we won't be in any worse a position than we are now if they do take Bree

I have heard that they want to spread the mass of signings out, one a day to show @CB1the proper respect.

Is it?, I took that to mean we’ve had some iffy players off of them since then? Not overly odd 🤷🏻‍♂️

Might help us in the negotiations with Southampton and with Bree if we can appear less desperate to sign him

I misread it. I though Doucher was criticising Matty Holland. My mistake
