    In Cawley’s latest article, NJ has rubbished the link to the Bosnian striker.

    Jones said it was between signing Dykes and recalling Mbick from Colchester but that we now have a “really good selection” of forwards.

    Dont necessarily see Dykes as scoring a lot of goals. If anything I see him, like Leaburn, being the sort of Striker that'll link the Midfield with Kelman, will pull players out of position and just be an overall nuisance.
    He feels the proper sort of Striker that is available in January.

    Not really. He won’t want L1 football and we wouldn’t want his wages there should the unthinkable happen!

    I don't mind Dykes, but it is slightly frustrating that our first two signings of the window haven't addressed by far our biggest problem area, left wing back.

    If I had to guess, there’s two to four names we’re keeping tabs on and one is clearly preferred over the other options but they’re not available yet for whatever reason…

    As frustrating as it is I really don’t think it’s a sign of any incompetence (not saying you were suggesting that was the case).

    Should ask united they have 3 that are non starters or recalled amass,Diego Leon and malacia who I reckon would all do a decent job at this level.
